Actually, there's a simple trick to fix it. If you don't have the editable cutscene. Meaning, the cutscene is not yours. But test out the solution Tinimuas and LadyHonor provided first. If that didn't work. Just notify me.
I'm just starting with making cutscenes and I'm having problems just getting them to frickin' walk in straight line at the right speed let alone edit someone elses work lol
Okay, this is simple. Just don't let the long post bothers you, and you'll do fine.
1 - Create a new cutscene. (In any module)
2 - Put in any actor. (yeah, any actor)
3 - Select your actor --> add new track --> add "change visibility" and set it to false.
4 - Make sure you've selected your actor --> look at your right side --> find the word "Mapping Tag". Type in there, gen00fl_morrigan --> hit Enter
5 - save the cutscene and export It. This will create 2 files, (.cub) and (.cut)
6 - find your cutscene that you just exported. (.cut)
7 - drag and drop the (.cut) file in your toolset.
8 - Look at the bottom, you'll see a line: CUTSCENE_ACTORS --> expand it --> Find the actor you just put in the cutscene. You'll find your actor in one of these. Click and expand it one by one. 0 1 2 3 etc...
If you see the line (CUTSCENE_ACTOR_MAPPING_TAG) which has (gen00fl_morrigan), that's the one.
9 - Now for example, if your actor is in number 2, select 2 and copy it.
10 - Open up the modded (.cut) file in your toolset too.
11 - Paste it under the CUTSCENE_ACTORS (at the bottom) save it.
Now when the cutscene plays, Morrigan should be invisible.
Edit: The cutscene that you created is no longer needed. You can deleted the exported files (.cut) and (.cub) afterward.
Not it's not my cutscene. Not started mine yet. It's the additional cutscene after Fort Dragon rescue for Zev Romance Scene. The author doesn't seem to be responding anymore
If she is supposed to be there (in the room) before you run the cutscene, you need to write a script to set her temporarily inactive. Remember to set her active again after it's over.
ok, let me get a few specifics here because I don't have a save that goes that far into the game. this happens right after the you're saved from the captured plot inside of arl eammon's estate?
lol this is why it takes me so long to complete a mod....I get easily side tracked, which is odd because I can't seem to get that achievement no matter how hard I try in-game. lol give me a few minutes to look through and i'll see what I can do.
I sent you pm with a link to it. keep in mind this untested, so i'm not certain how well it's going to work, but it isn't anything that will hurt your game. it's just a simple script to check certain flags. so I guess you're my tester. lol
