About this mod
Those wings on some helmets are ridiculous. This mod replaces the wing models with (default) models looking more realistic. Also contains retinted helmets to match with the Warden Commander Armor, the Devout Armor, the Pious Armor and the Shadow Wardens Armor.

The number of files in this mod was really confusing.
Because of that I have merged the variations of one helmet into packages.
The old single packages have been
The new packages include a ReadMe and images showing the helmets.
The pics in the images section now match the contents of the packages exactly.

Those wings on some helmets are ridiculous!
This mod replaces the wing models with (default) models looking more realistic.
I have changed no stats, no item set attributes, no tints - just the models.
Have a look at the images to see what a helmet will look like with a certain model.
The pictures of the Grey Warden Helmets show the iron versions. If you have items with better materials the color will look different.
The Qunari Helm variation may look better when worn by a human or dwarf. It looks a bit big on an elven head. ;)
Screenshots, comments, bug reports, suggestions and requests are welcome. :)

Here you can find helmet replacers with additional modifications.
If the file name doesn't say otherwise, the armor type is unchanged.
Currently there are retinted versions of the Helm of Honnleath matching my favorite armor sets:
- the Warden Commander Armor
- the Devout Armor
- the Pious Armor
- the Shadow Wardens Armor
- the Armor of the Sten
The Helm of Honnleath Update Script
Well, perhaps you know that once you received an item you cannot change its stats anymore - except the things the game has to render (model, textures, tints).
Because I have also made light versions of the Helm of Honnleath, there was the need for a script which updates the changed attributes like material, material progression and (indirectly) the armor value.
Using the script is really easy. Once in your override folder, run "runscript crs_update_hoh" in your console.
If you have the helmet in your inventory or someone in your party has it equipped, the script will take it away from you and put a new copy of the item in your inventory.
Of course you can run the script again when switching back to a heavy version.
If it doesn't disturb you, that you loose 0.5 armor points and that a leather helmet is shown as "Grey Iron", there's no need to use the script.
