Anybody have any idea how to install this? Comes as a .rar file despite the mod saying it is dazip. If i convert it to dazip it just gets an error when DAupdater tries to install it. HELP
Never mind, just something weird about my file extractor for a .rar or something. When I extract the .rar file it gave me a folder called The Bloodworks-1397 with Contents and Manifest in it. But what you need is a file TheBloodworks099.dazip.
The fix for me was to rename the file you download, Bloodworks-1397.rar to Bloodworks-1397.zip. Then when I extracted, it gave me TheBloodworks099.dazip like expected and that runs like normal.
This mod is too buggy atm to properly play through. I was able to defeat the Templar and help the Blood Magi in the deserted alley but the key they gave me doesn't work on the locked door in the abandoned building they sent me too :(.
yea, I can't find it too... I thought it was a bug along with my ostagar dlc (quest marker didnt go off until the end) so I was looking forward to it on my Monk playthrough, but I still didn't find it. Anyone knows where to find the location?
After testing this mod...well, I suppose the only thing it need is a user guide.
There were many times I thought I encountered a bug, and was wondering if I should remove some mod. But in the end It's just some misunderstanding and expectation difference between me player and mod creator.
For example the cultists hideout...The quest giver from both side said they've already marked the location on my map, but I just cant figure out where. After making a new character and do 1 last try, I realized that "cultists hideout" is a grey-out small button which locate at left-bottom side of world map(Near Andraste temple). This location also might be covered by a mod named "Hilltop village".
Anyway, this mod is worth playing with a proper guidance.
There's no way to find Agamemnon in Denerim if you play on the mage side, and the ONLY hint in this mod thread is a really bad one. I honestly do not recommend this mod due to its age and lack of proper guidelines anywhere.
Just want to say that this is one of the more enjoyable quests mods that I've tried. The quests are short and do not drag out. The Templars' lines add comic relief (I much preferred their voices to those of the mages because you can actually hear them, the mages are quieter than a Chantry mouse). I sided with the mages and encountered no bugs(*). There were a couple of times when I thought there was a bug preventing completion of quest:
1) When getting ogre blood I initially got 1 barrel and when I went back to quest giver, quest wouldn't complete. You need to collect more barrels to complete quest.
2) In the quest to capture a matriarch I thought I had to speak to Amara, but as someone pointed out earlier you need to speak to the guard by the barricade.
* FWIW I did not recruit the offered mage
[UPDATE] I've now played through siding with the Templars this time. A couple of issues:
1) If you decline to kill the dwarves then when you return to the chantry the quest giver doesn't seem to recognise it and has nothing to say when you ask if they need any help. Just a minor issue, I reloaded and killed the dwarves instead :)
2) Killing Aggy - this is a weird one. First time, I clicked on Aggy from afar then when my PC reached him he spoke the lines that he speaks when he is killed (obviously I didn't know at the time), THEN he speaks his "greeting" lines. After I killed him I went back the way I came and the High Priestess was there. When I spoke to "her", "she" says "...well done...", "...nothing stands in my way...", "releasing control", but in a "male" voice like she's possessed or something. And the last words "releasing control" suggests something was supposed to happen - like she changes into a demon or something, but nothing happens. Spoke to her several times and she just repeats her lines and still nothing happens. So I reloaded and this time walked up close to Aggy before speaking to him. After killing him, again I went back the way I came but this time there was no High Priestess to be found. In both cases the quest was updated to say that Aggy was killed.
Hi!!!! I want to know if I can post it on a Russian website Modgames.ru translated by me, your mod. I guarantee the authorship and the link to the mod page. A lot of people in Russia want to play your mod, but you know, they need a Russified version of your mod!!!!
