Version 1.3 Update: I've fixed the normal map for the small wooden shield. Before it was causing an odd shiny and discolored splotch to appear in the middle of the shield in-game, due to an oversight on my part. I'm very sorry about that everyone, that was entirely my mistake. Please download the new v2 version.
Version 1.2 Update: Large wooden round shield added. I've removed those weird, ugly straps and buckles from the shield so now you've got a nice, smooth surface.
Version 1.1 Update: Small metal shield added. Did the same thing I did to the wood version, and edited the textures so it all looks right.
Version 1.0: Here is a decrapified version of the small wooden shield. I didn't really change anything, I just removed that metal button in the center because it looked rather ugly, and it also distorted any heraldry placed on it.
Unzip the .rar and place the files in your My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override folder. If you find you're dissatisfied with the change or just don't like it, simply delete the files and it will revert back to normal.
Constructive criticism is always appreciated... please let me know if I made any mistakes and I will attempt to fix it ASAP.
I'm also working on modifations for the other shields too so stay tuned...
