Changelogs
Version 1.0
Initial release
This tiny mod fixes an issue in Thedosian Grey Wardens where the armour tints to the character's skintone. It will apply to IceBuckets' Dwarven Expansion too if you have it installed.
This has not been tested as I don't currently have TGW installed, but it should work. Many thanks to lynnkie's very prompt screenshot work; I now know that it works and have a proper thumbnail!
About
Thedosian Grey Wardens' MAO (material object) files use the "ArmourSkinTint" semantic but don't have tint maps, which makes the game use default_black.dds as a tint map. However default_black is...not fully black: the alpha channel is white, and since any semantic that can do skin tinting uses the alpha channel for the skin tint map, that results in the whole armour being overlaid with the skin tint of the character wearing it.
The solution here: change the MAOs to use the "NoTint" semantic.
Installation
Extract in the usual override folder (\Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override).
To uninstall, delete the files at any time.
Compatibility
No conflicts known. Thedosian Wardens is a DAZIP mod, so you won't need to overwrite anything.
