About this mod
This was taken from my Equipment Edits and Tweaks and further refined. It updates the mage staves to use Loincloth Fashion models and, optionally, models from Tevinter Nights. Furthermore, it was made to work with wood mage staves as an alternative choice. The mod also has some minor model change to Tevinter robes and fixes Irving equipment.

- Permissions and credits
I did not include the Warden staff in this mod, I've placed that in a separate Warden update; otherwise, everything else related to mage equipment is here.
Version 4 has added tint overrides for Male & Female Mage Replacers by Commanderstrawberry
Version 4.1 has a model swap and fix for Vestements of the Seer
Version 5 has updated the mage tint and some renames of the mage robes
Version 5.1 gives the staff "Call the Inferno" from awakening a new model, uses the Valdasine model, and adds an additional propriety. The propriety added was chosen for thematic reasons and not to boost the power of the staff. The description stats the staff is always hot to the touch, so I added the propriety "Generate Aura of Flame" and set the value to 2. Has both Wood & Metal versions available.
Version 6 removes Zathrian's and Merril's changes. These are now included in my new Elves of Ferelden (Beta) update. Adds an option to change the human female model of the Surana robes by commanderstrawberry to use enchanter robes by makara5656 with update textures by LustyThedosianMaid.
Version 6.1 Adds an option to have Triss Robes as an alternative to for Surana robes. Thank you, Sabrine, for letting me use your assets.
Version 6.2 Found the same model for Hakkon's Breath that has skull on top. Be warned, your character will be grasping the blade in combat. I have included pictures, both in the folder and here.
Mage Staff Model Swaps
What it does: Changes various mage staves to use Loincloth Fashion models, to make them match their Dragon Age 2 models; please see included pictures of the different model swaps. Also, swaps Spell Fury and Lamppost in the Winter to DA2 models that match their Origin appearance. Furthermore, changes select few other staves to make feel more unique.
Adds "Radiate's Cold" passive ability to Lamppost in the Winter, based on the description.
Changes Winter's Breath, Warden's Keep DLC staff, to Hakkon's Breath to differentiate it from Wintersbreath that may be purchased from the Wonders of Thedas. I figured both staves are hinting at the Avvar God Hakkon Wintersbreath.
I did not include Finn's Vera staff in the model change, I use Shanamah's DLC Tweaks & Cameos (DLC Tweaks and Cameos at Dragon Age: Origins - mods and community (nexusmods.com)) for Finn's staff model swap. I've included a wood variety with the same model, it is classed as Vhenadahl wood.
Wood Mage Staff version. This is a model swap to work with DarthReavus's Wood Mage Staff mod (Wood Mage Staff at Dragon Age: Origins - mods and community (nexusmods.com)). You'll have to override his mod with mine or have mine load last.
You only need to download one of the folders (either Mage Staves or Wood Mage Staves) in main file.
Tevinter Robes
A simple model swap so that Lesser Tevinter Robe and Tevinter Robe uses Tevinter model verse Chasanid.
Irving Equipment Update
This gives Irving the Enchanter's Staff model instead of the Acolyte.
It also places him in Circle Travelling Robes by Shanamah (Circle Travelling Robes at Dragon Age: Origins - mods and community (nexusmods.com)) when he visits Redcliff and at during the Climax. Shanamah already placed him in the travelling robes during the epilogue. Otherwise, you'll find him in First Enchanter Robes when you visit the Circle.
Tint overrides for the male & female robe replacers by commanderstrawberry
I figured out how to use tint override in the UTI using a GDA by copying what Shanamah did in their mod (DLC Tweaks and Cameos at Dragon Age: Origins - mods and community (nexusmods.com)). From there, I made my own version with my own tints created using Nevroy's online tint creator (DAO Tint Creator - nezroy was here) With that, I've changed the following robes tints:
Grey/Blue to Apprentice Robes
Orange to Mage Robes (renamed Enchanter Robes)
Red to Senior Enchanter Robes (renamed Senior Enchanter Robes)
Yellow to First Enchanter Robe (because of the green base colour, the outcome is closer to a light green for the female version)
Purple to Blood Promise (found in Awakening)
Red to Lorekeeper Robes (found in Awakening)
The name change for the mage robe is to match the ranks in the circle (apprentice / enchanter / senior enchanter / first enchanter)
These tint overrides are not required if you don't use commanderstrawberry's replacements.
Vestments of the Seer
The robe is supposed to be from Tevinter, so I changed the model to Tevinter Robe model. See above recommendation about the tevinter robe model.
Alternatively, I also have an option for it to use Orsino's Robe model from LCF.
I also fixed the spell resistance value in the Origin version; it's the only DLC item that has a higher value than the Awakening value. So, I decreased the value of the spell resistance from 12% to 8%. This is in line with the other values that change between Origin and Awakening; they are all one tier lower.
For those that don't want the fix, I've included an unfixed version in the download.
Pick one version only.
Optional Changes
Mage Staves
a. Tevinter staves (Magister's Staff, Corrupted Magister's Staff, Staff of the Magister Lord & Spell Fury) to Tevinter model imported by IceBuckets in Tevinter Nights (Tevinter Nights at Dragon Age: Origins - mods and community (nexusmods.com)). This will require only the staff model from that mod. Includes both metal and wood versions, choose only one.
b. I've included an optional, both metal and wood versions, of Winter's Breath that keep the original name but still has the model swap in case someone doesn't like the name change.
Mage Chest at Ostagar
Ostagar mage chest tweak. I matched the equipment from Return to Ostagar to the original chest. The exception being the staff is an uncorrupted red steel Magister's Staff. My reasoning is it is the same chest, so the items should be the same. Includes both metal and wood versions, choose only one. The wood corrupted mage staff has a slight description tweak to make sense.
Note: If you are using Dain's fixes, would recommend deleting his fix for the Mage Chest (Mage Chest Key folder in Bug Fixes).
Surana Circle Mage Robe
Commanderstrawberry did an excellent job of creating the Surana Circle Robe from the concept art. I wanted this to be unique to elves, and have figured a work around, without scripts, to do that; without ending up with a floating female Amell head. I used the method commanderstrawberry used to give a male version using an alternative mesh.
I chose the mesh from sorceress robes, 1 & 2, by makara5656. The version shown are with the retexture by LustyThedosianMaid.
As an alternative, I've done the same for the Triss mesh from Sabrine. The version shown uses the retexture by Makara5656
Also, thanks to maaaaaaaaap for hinting at the possibility that it can be done.
