This is probably the only thing which made me so upset at the age of 10-11 playing game, realizing this armor "set" is actually different in appearance.
this little mod addresses it, fixes gloves which now spawn as White steel, and boots which now have the mesh of "ceremonial" boots.
note: if you already have the gloves in your inventory it wont be affected, use this console command to add it if you use this mod:
runscript additem gxa_im_arm_glv_hvy_001 1
the vanilla game works with:
runscript additem gxa_im_arm_glv_hvy_001.uti 1
