"I do adore the heavy blend of power, intrigue, danger and sex that permeates these events. The powerful have always been the same. Only the costumes change."
I believe that a dress wasn't necessary, mostly because the Inquisitor is supposed to be representing the Inquisition. At least a dress with the symbol or something.
I would have just like a choice between either the pant suit or a dress. I felt so out of place as one of the few females there in a pant suit (w/o a mask too)
I agree! More options are always a good thing. Those who want to be able to wear a dress should, just as those who want to have pants should. And don't make it gated by sex either.

*sigh* Why Bioware? Why couldn't you have given the ladies the option of a nice dress for this?
Uh, I know. And special hairstyles and stuff would have been sooo cool in the palace.
