UPDATE on ORC as of 02/01/2024:
So apparently this mod is infamous for never working for almost anyone else. So after many years (and quite a few emails asking me about uploading the raw files) I've added all the raw files/etc. to the Miscellaneous section of this mod's downloads if anyone wants to try and get it working, they can. I no longer have the energy/time and I haven't played Inquisition since it came out (at the time I made this mod, was dealing with my Father passing) and I likely will never fix it as it's too much of a time sink for me to figure out how to repair the files now as the modding process (and DLCs, etc.) is a lot different and likely don't function the same coding-wise as they did when the game was first released.

Tired of the pasty-white blondeness of your resident Commander? Or maybe you just miss those fiery red noodle locks from Origins? Well here's a mod for you! This mod overhauls the colors and face texture for Commander and Ex-Templar Cullen Rutherford. In an attempt to marry realism with his original appearance, this mod gives our Commander a war-weathered, more mature look of a templar veteran while still retaining a few signature features such as his red hair and mole that disappeared after the first game. In addition, I made some aesthetic changes (darkened lips, tired eyes) to reflect his personal quest regarding his lyrium addiction. Now you can look forward to many saucy (or surly) encounters with your favorite redheaded templar in Inquisition!
List of Changes:
- Skintone darkened and color-adjusted (WINDBURN!! OUTSIDE!! SUNSHINE!!)
- Wrinkles added for “weathered, older templar” look (templaring is rough)
- Facial hair darkened and color-adjusted (and beard thickened)
- Mole restored!! (so VERY nice)
- Eye color darkened and adjusted (saucy sad brown yeah)
- HAIR COLOR CHANGED (thank the Maker)
- Lips thinned and dried more (lyrium addiction!!)
- Eye sockets darkened/bruised (lack of sleep!)

Author's Note: I've never made a mod before, and being this is my very first one I hope y'all can forgive any errors/issues you might encounter! If you do encounter any game-breaking issues, please report them to me directly via [email protected] and I'll do everything I can to fix them. I'm only a newbie modder though, so I might not always know what to do lol.

My game keeps crashing! What do I do?
First, you'll need to narrow down to determine if ORC is the cause of your crash. Disable or temporarily remove your other mods, refresh/merge your mod list (should only have ORC listed), and also update your game before firing up the game again! If the problem persists, it could be a corruption issue from the download or (worst case scenario) my mod broke your game. Please report any crashing issues to [email protected] and I'll see if I can't fix it for you!
Where did you get or make the texture from for Cullen's face? Was it from Origins??
The texture was digitally hand-painted over the original Inquisition vanilla face texture using Photoshop CC - luckily I'm a freelance artist by day so I had the tools available to easily modify his textures! All I needed was PS CC, a tablet, and some Origins references to look at. I think GIMP works as well for editing face textures, as long as you know how to import them correctly :)
Only Cullen's hair/texture is working but not the other part of his mod! What happened?
This would be an issue related to the Mod Maker itself, I believe, and was a reason in the past I couldn't release the mod. If you're having this issue, let me know and I'll upload a workaround debug version for you to use ASAP!
Your mod caused my [insert other mod(s)] to freak out! How do I fix it?
First make sure to go back and double-check that you don't have any files that overwrite or interact with ORC! My mod changes most of Cullen's textures, base head, and hair files. If you have any other mod that interacts or changes his features, chances are it is causing the issue! If you determine that a file is interacting with my mod but want to keep both mods, feel free to contact me and I can work on creating a patched version that blends with the other mod you want to keep!
