I wanted to create a female human character without the long narrow face typical of the human builds. I wanted a character with a rounder, wider face, less angular but still with a pointy chin more like an elven face. Why? Don't laugh, but in my head cannon, she's a hybrid of human and elf, not really half blooded (as those in actual cannon all look completely human.) She's the daughter of one of the Trevelyan men some generations ago and her mother is Flemeth/Mythal and somehow the elven part of Mythal manifested in giving the "human" child the elf ears and facial structure despite the rounder human body. She's also a lot older than she looks. She's more or less the Trevelyan dirty secret, and was sent by her mother to try to keep Solas out of trouble. As Mythal is the elven Mother-Goddess, Sairys considers Solas her brother of sorts. Along the way in this adventure, she falls in love with Cullen Rutherford.
I'm really happy with the results so I wanted to share in case anyone else was looking for something similar to use as a jumping point to their own creations. I named her Sairys after the golden dragon of air of Pagan/Wiccan circles. She is a mage and uses primarily spirit and electricity magic.
