For a lil flavour of the Qun if you're bored of vitaar or want some lore-friendly gear for your Adaar: you now have options! This mod gives six new helmet options and two sets of earrings for Qunari, male and female.
These will replace the Inquisitor Helm model for your chosen gender. As with my inquisitor crown mod, the higher-levelled schematic will turn your Inquisitor bald while wearing the helmet, so to bypass this make sure you're crafting the lower-tier Helm of the Inquisitor. (Realistically, we can say a mask/some cool ropes don't provide as much protection as a full helmet.)
For Adaars only. I don't really plan on converting these to other races at the moment. All helmets/earrings are now available for both sexes.
If you have 'Hide Helmets' on, these won't show up. They may also not show up in Skyhold or cutscenes, I haven't tested that yet but it's not likely. When I find a fix for that I'll add it.
Due to current restrictions on textures and mesh replacing, these mods cannot be compiled together, so please make sure you only install one at a time!
01: Saarebas Mask
02: Saarath's Mask (broken saarebas mask)
03: Viddasala's Rope Headdress
04: Heavy Qunari Helmet
05: Medium Qunari Helmet (javelin thrower/arvaarad)
06: Light Qunari Helmet
07: Tusk Earrings
08: Disc Earrings
NOTE: Because the previews below are in a model viewer, the textures appear very low-quality - don't worry, this won't be the case in-game.
Installation
Install with the newest Frosty modmanager (1.0.5.8 or higher) and you’re pretty much ready to go. As with many Frosty mods, this is literally not possible in DAImod format, so please don’t ask. This will not work with older versions of Frosty.
You'll find your headgear in place of the Helm of the Inquisitor, the easiest way being to craft it.
Made with the Frosty toolsuite 1.0.5.8 Alpha
Much thanks to Jheresy for their saved games that I used to test the crown’s functionality, their characters are shown in the images.
I owe a lot to KittenTails for helping me out and teaching me lots of stuff about modding!
Endorsements appreciated! Please submit pictures of your Inquisitors in-game, I'd love to see em!
