Further Skintone Fixes

Frosty or daimod. Fixes issues of the skin tint of the body not matching the face on some armours for Solas, and also one fix for Sera's leg tint in one outfit, plus a fix for the qunari body skin being too pale on the trespasser wedding dress, qunari inquistion's captain's plate, as well as a fix for some dwarven outfits (the mage arm pieces for DM that were fixed aren't in the game by default, but if you use a mod that unlocks them for example the dwarf mage origin mod, then you may want to use this.) The qunari inquistion's captain plate also isn't in the game by default, but if you are using a mod that adds it, you can use my mod to fix the skintone mismatch.

This mod does NOT contain any custom skintones for Sera or Solas, the ones in the preview are from 2 different mods. Solas is using a private mod from another author, Sera is using the darker Sera mod from sydmayl649.

Version 2 of the frosty mod manager qunari wedding dress fix should work with nude retextures. The dai mod manager version won't because of mod maker restrictions. But both should work with custom skintone mods.

If you find any other armours where the skin tint does not match up, you can tell me if you want, I don't guarantee anything because I have lots of projects and am not formally accepting of requests.

This mod is not a substitute for custom skin tints for Solas and Sera. So for example, if you had a mod that retextured Sera's or Solas' complexion/face to have a different skintone, those mods by nature do not recolour their entire body unless a skin tint edit it also included - skin tints cover the bodies skintone, and their complexions will cover their faces skintone, you will need both a skin tint edit and a complexion that edits the skintone of their face if you want both their face and body skintone to match when using such mods.

This mod is, however, compatible with custom skintones for them, so if you do have a skin tint edit for the body of Solas or Sera, it will now tint accordingly with this mod. You can use this mod without custom skin tints but personally I didn't notice much of a mismatch in skin tints when using unmodded skintones for them.

If you are seeing that the skins don't match up, please first check the third paragraph to ensure that it's not because of a mod you are missing.

For Solas I edited all the legs and arms that had skin showing with the wrong shader, in the previews there is the superior enchanter mail and the reinforced apprentice armour. For Sera, she is wearing the masterwork scout armour with the hunter coat legs in the previews. Tbh I don't know all the armours that are affected by this issue, I don't know whether it's an issue with leg and arm upgrades or just certain armours, but I did find all the arms and legs for Solas and Sera that had the wrong shader, what upgrades or armours they correspond to ingame, Idk.

P.s Sera has 2 different skintones, she uses Leliana's on her regular head morph,  and her own unique skintone file on her earless headmorph, which is used with some helmets. If you are finding that Sera's skintone changes when wearing certain helmets, this is not a result of my mod, but rather the reason could be that the skintone edit you are using doesn't cover both of the skintones she uses.

For modders that wish to make a custom skintone for Sera without affecting Leliana's skintone, I have added a file to the optional files that makes Sera use her own, unique skintone on all of her headmorphs. This is not a retexture in itself, it just redirects Sera to her own skintone texture path instead of Leliana's. If you want to retexture it you should edit da3/actors/baseheads/textures/skin/uhm_skintint_01_sera. You shouldn't have to edit both Leliana and Sera's skintones if using my mod from the optional files.

Please don't reupload my mod though or include it in your own, instead link to this page and tell people to get the required mod. The Sera headmorph skin file is not really for people that don't intend to make their own, new mod for Sera's skintone, it won't do much for those who aren't.

You may not have noticed Leliana sharing Sera's skintone normally as the skin tints on most non-generic NPCs like Sera and Leliana are applied to the body only, and Leliana has no visible skin on her regular outfit. However you will notice a mismatch in skintone between the face and the body of Leliana if you have a custom skintone for Sera and Leliana is wearing outfits with exposed skin like the hands on the divine outfit if Leliana is your divine, or if you use any outfit mods for Leliana with visible skin. This is why I made my file, so Leliana and Sera's skintones are independent of each other.
