One thing that really annoyed me about vanilla DA:I was the fact that if I wanted a character to have dark brown eyes, I couldn't really make that happen. Everything was just kind of... Greyish.
So I created this mod to solve that one issue, nothing else. This isn't a big and pretty overhaul for the eyes, all I did was change the game's base iris color from grey to brown and increase the contrast a little bit. I didn't touch the eyes otherwise 'cause I had nothing against the vanilla eyes beyond that one gripe and minor touch-up.
The end result of this is that brown eyes, especially dark brown eyes, are actually brown.
Of course, this affects all eyes across the board since that's how the game handles eyes, so all other eye colors out there will be affected too. However, personally I don't think the impact is even particularly noticeable, or at least nothing jumped at me while playing.
But just be aware of that if you want to test this out. I tried to keep the modification small in large part to preserve other eye colors, though.
This mod modifies only two textures, UH_eye_d and UH_eye_dark_d. Probably not going to be very compatible with any other mods that touch the eyes.
