About this mod
A mesh edit for the female warrior Hawke's champion armour, removing arm pauldrons, hip, knee and/or neck guards. Compatible with any retextures and armour swaps for the Inquisitor.
- Permissions and credits
Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about the metal parts of gloves and boots. I can't just delete them like I did with the pauldrons/hip and knee guards since no armour is modelled beneath the glove and boot metal parts, and filling holes in 3d models is above my current skill level.
Edits include:
-removing the arm pauldrons
-removing the hip guards
-removing the neck guard
-flattening the pointy tip of the chestpiece
The Full version includes all these edits. I also included two versions that remove only certain parts of the armour. Please see the image section for more details on the name of the parts/the comparison in the chestpiece edit.
This mod is fully compatible with any retextures for the Champion Armour (the fantastic textures from whiskasgirl's The Champion's Armoury are used in the showcase). It also should be compatible with mods that let HF Inquisitors use Hawke's armour, and I've used mummmm Champion Armor for Human Inquisitor for testing without any issues. The changes from the mod apply only to the Human Female version of the armour, Male Hawke/other races and genders are not included.
Removing the neckguard was a kind of a hassle. I had to resort to sculpting to make the mod look presentable, so the inside of Hawke's collar may look a bit wonky from a few angles. Oh, and Hawke's silhouette will look weird and stretchy if you hover your cursor over her at Skyhold (the model itself will still look fine). See the Images tab for more details on the second issue and only use the mod if you don't mind that it's imperfect in places.
Also, if you plan to use the mod for your game, I'd love to see your screenshots! I suck at taking pictures myself, so any submissions will be greatly appreciated <3 (and potentially added to the mod's main page, with the sender's permission)
