It bothered me how there are a bunch of cool staves in the game, but as a player who uses dagger+orb 95% of the time, I never got to see them. So I made this. Now your staff will stay visible when you have your dagger equipped and vice versa. The inactive weapons will disappear when you draw your weapons and become visible again when you holster your weapons.
Three versions:
1. Mage weapons stay visible in gameplay but disappear in any cutscene that hides them in the vanilla game.
2. Warrior weapons stay visible in gameplay but disappear in any cutscene that hides them in the vanilla game.
3. Weapons stay visible in cinematics. Should affect all classes + companions. You will probably see both weapons in your character's hand when they are holding them in cutscenes. I would like to fix this, but it might not be possible right now.
All three can be used in any combination. Load order shouldn't matter.

Joel's release is the most up to date and feature complete version of Frosty. It is recommended that you switch to using Joel's Frosty over wavebend's. It is installed and works exactly the same as wavebend's Frosty, with some extra quality of life features and fewer bugs.
If you bought the game on the EIPC GAMES STORE, download the Datapath Fix Plugin and place it in your Plugins folder within your Frosty folder!
Follow this guide by PinkyDude for step by step instructions on the installation and usage of the mod manager.
If you are having trouble with the modding tools, the best place to ask for help is the Veilguard Modding discord. Start by reading our resources in the Troubleshooting section! Also keep in mind that while we are doing our best to help, Veilguard modding is new territory for everyone, and we are still in the process of learning how it all works (or why it sometimes doesn't and how to fix it.)
If you get an error when trying to import the mod into Frosty, you need to unzip the downloaded archive. There are a variety of tools for this. I can recommend 7-Zip, which is free and open source. With 7-Zip installed, you can simply right click the downloaded file and go to 7-Zip -> Extract Here if you want to extract the mod file into the current folder, or 7-Zip -> Extract Files... if you want to specify a different destination folder.

wavebend for the Veilguard fork.
