While I understand the want to see mods made that are what you want, the amount of time it takes to make and test these mods is A LOT and I do this with my free time for fun. Because of that I will be focusing on making the mods I want to make first and foremost.

The files contained in this mod are the following:

-Individual Companion to Illario Appearance Swap Mods

-2/17/25 Update: Added mod for swapping Solas to Illario, for funsies. Swap includes all versions of Solas and swaps his outfit to the Executioner's Plume (there is a bad neck seam in some scenes with Illario's default outfit unfortunately)

I highly suggest using the Crow Armor and Illario Casual Swaps found in my Everyone is Illario mod for all companions due to odd clipping, stretching, and distortion of default armors/casual outfits for most companions, esp the fem bodied ones. The only expectations are Lucanis and Emmrich, theirs are fine for the most part. Most of Davrin and Taash's work as well, but there is some clipping on a few outfits.

You will need to have either the Swap Library Mod or a Custom Bundle mod to use this with other Swap Mods. You can find a guide on how to create a custom bundle here. I have included a Crow's Nest Swap Library Bundle mod that includes all the bundles used for all the files here and on the Everyone is Illario mod. You can install multiple of these individual Swap mods at a time if you want to have some Illarios but not all Illarios.

Bundle used:

**Known Bugs** (I am unable to dedicate more time to fixing these atm, but may attempt to do so in the future if possible)

Bugs

-Menu Crashing: I have on occasion had the game crash when I have left the Wardrobe or Companions menu screens while on Lucanis or Harding with their Swap mod installed. It doesn't happen every time, it happens more often when I am moving through the menu screens quickly and could be a limitation of my system, but I wanted to give a warning just incase.
Workaround: If you select another companion other than Harding or Lucanis and then exit the Wardrobe or Companion menus, the bug shouldn't happen.

**Limitations** (these are issues caused by limitations of the game design that I cannot do anything about or have provided workarounds for)

-Neck Seam:
There is a slight line noticeable on his neck in some of the more revealing outfits such as the Invitation, it's more noticeable in some cut scenes than others. It seems to be caused by his complexion setting, as I've seen similar on Rooks with strong complexions that make their face not match their body skin tone

-Cutscene zoom ins/object clipping:
While this mod changes the appearance of the companions to Illario, the scenes and some poses are build around the design of the original companion, so there are going to be scenes that are zoomed in/out strangely, as well as times where hands might clip through objects, or not quite meet an option a companion is meant to be holding. This happens more so for companions with a larger size difference from Illario, such as Harding, Lucanis, Davrin and Bellara. I don't know of a mod that would allow for a fix of this at this time, or have the experience to look into it myself.

-Fem body companions default armor clipping and distortion:
If you use the swap for any of the fem bodied companions, there will be clipping, distortion, etc with their armors. This is a limitation of the armors themselves, as they are designed for fem bodies. You will need to use an armor/casual swap to avoid this, I have built full armor and Illario casual swaps to go along with this mod that can be found in the "Everyone Is Illario" mod I have linked at the top of the description

Please let me know if you encounter any other issues or bugs!

Big thanks to Frost0016 for their mesh swap tutorial!

Modding for Veilgaurd is still in early phases, so use at your own risk/back up your files/all that good stuff
