WOOO Veilguard modding is here!! While it's still in it's early stages, I wanted to try and fix something that had been bugging me since the
game's release.
This mod aims to restore Isabela's original Dragon Age 2 skintone (or at least something closer to it) and incorporate some
of the texture changes I made in my previous mod for DA2, Rivaini Isabela.
Changes made by this mod:
- Gives a darker skin tone
- Adds slight wrinkles to her eyes as well as slightly darkens the under eyes, to show the passage of time between games
- Gives her two-toned lips
I'm currently considering this mod a WIP, since I'd like to revisit her features if Mesh Editing ever becomes possible for Veilguard.
Update 11/23/24: The lovely Aimryax has given me permission to create a version that incorporates some of their (amazing) changes they made in their mod Queen of the Eastern Seas - Isabela Redux <3
These changes include:
- additional wrinkles, freckles, and body scars
- a fixed tarot card design for the codex
In addition, the original mod has also received a small update:
- Lower lip slightly lightened in color (also included in the Redux version)
Installation:
- Install the latest version of Frosty ModManager (Follow the tutorial here)
- Download EITHER Rivaini Isabela (DATV).fbmod or Rivaini Isabela (DATV) - Redux Version.fbmod (not both!) and add it to the ModManager
- Click "Apply Mods" and it should appear in the "Applied Mods" Tab
You may get a warning when first adding the mod that it was created for a different game version, afaik this should be fine to ignore.
Compatibility:
Incompatible with any mod that makes changes to Isabela's face and body textures
Note:
This is my first mod for Veilguard, and since the modding scene is in it's early stages it can be unpredictable. Please let me know if you run into any issues, and I will attempt to fix them to the best of my (limited) ability!
Also, as always, screenshots are incredibly appreciated as my current PC is not the strongest 😅
