UPDATE v4.0
Thanks to becks7's extra BGM slot tool, I'm finally able to drop a worthwhile update. This update adds over 90 new slots to the pack and I will end up having all the previous songs added as new slots in the coming days/weeks. I will keep the replacer version in the files as it is able to be played in online/ranked multiplayer, but the new music slots are NOT playable online. I will update the tracks to have a more cohesive tracklist but this will do for now. A lot of these new tracks were suggested by you guys in the comments and in DMs so thank you all for the support :)
also made a couple of custom battle maps to be played alongside this mod, the ID's are 1-543-440-902 and 1-003-849-079, when more documentation about baking custom custom battles into the game I plan on adding them as bonus battles :D
To install the new added tracks, download and extract becks7's music manager mod and the new AMVBGM files into your mods folder, then go into BGMMods.json in the MusicManager files and add
"AMVBGM": "/AMVBGM", to the top of the directory.
UPDATE v3.99
Text replacer is now in a separated file so that the main bgm is update proof if the text breaks.
Fixed a bug where DLC names were fucked, and fixed We Were Angels playing where Papercut was meant to go, also made a couple of custom battle maps to be played alongside this mod, the ID's are 1-543-440-902 and 1-003-849-079
Thanks to improvement in Lost's Audio Modding tool, there is an option to mute sparking mode music without the use of Reloaded II. Personally I think this version is the best version to use but the choice is there if you are a sparking mode music enjoyer. This version does NOT have DLC support or a randomizer with unverum, so Reloaded II may still need to be used if you have the DLC. Also fixed a bug where some menus would not play music or would crash the game
THERE IS AN ERROR IN THE NO SPARKING VERSION WHICH CAUSES TRACKS FROM KRYPTONITE - CHOP SUEY TO BE MUTED, THIS WILL BE FIXED ASAP
v3.33:
v3.3 MENU TEXT ALL LANGUAGES FIXED:
I personally have been using reloaded to mute sparking mode bgm and randomize the world tournament mode track, as well as replace the DLC tracks (which should have unverum support sometime during december) so I have uploaded the files that I use.
v3.1 NO RELOADED WITH WORKING CUSTOM SPARKING SOUNDS:
all custom sparking modes are functioning. I will likely not do anymore reloaded updates when 4.0 comes out, however all reloaded files are still available if you prefer
HUGE thanks to Ekonomia, Lost and Gopo for their work on pretty much making this shit happen
TUTORIAL ON MAKING A BGM MOD WITH UNVERUM SUPPORT
v2:
btw for anime music dlc 2 owners i replaced one of the tracks with Dragon Power and it got really annoying in story mode so theres a replacer track which is less of a brain killer
I use this mod online frequently with no issue
List of unedited track ID's in case someone wants to make their own pack
There is a separate file which can be downloaded through Unverum which changes all the BGM selection menu text in game to their appropriate track
Title replacer needs to be extracted to Unverum\Mods\Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO or DRAGON BALL Sparking! ZERO\SparkingZERO\Content\Paks\~mods OR you can just use unverum to install/pack it, I used this guide to edit the text
There are randomizers for the default bgm track and for the track that plays in world tournament mode, the randomizer files were downloaded here
The cue folder in the randomizer files must be dropped in Reloaded-II\Mods\in the end testt\Ryo\SparkingZERO-Win64-Shipping\bgm_main.acb to be able to function
v1:Replaces in game battle bgm with tracks i saw on various amvs back in the days + songs from other dragon ball games
I also got really lazy trying to find amv tracks near the end and ended up adding songs I had lying on my pc which is why there are like 4 or 5 tracks by Chief Keef
install instructions:
Unverum method:
Download the main bgm pack using the unverum mod loader, or copy all pak, utoc and ucas files within the subfolders to SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DRAGON BALL Sparking! ZERO\SparkingZERO\Content\Paks
Reloaded Method:
- Install Reloaded II, download Ryo Framework, and the Reloaded pack files
- Add Sparking Zero to Reloaded II via “Add Application” and select the SparkingZERO Win64-Shipping.exe file from your game directory (DRAGON BALL Sparking! ZERO\SparkingZERO\Binaries\Win64).
The selected file MUST specifically be the file
SparkingZERO-Win64-Shipping.exe
or this will not work
- Copy Ryo Framework and either in the end testt (v2) OR dlcrandom (v3) folders into Reloaded II’s mods directory \Reloaded-II\Mods
- Open Manage Mods in Reloaded II, select Ryo Framework, and check SparkingZERO.
- Do the same for the amv bgm mods
- Select SparkingZERO-Win64-Shipping.exe from the sidebar, then activate both Ryo Framework and the amv bgm mods (v2 should be labeled intheendtestt and v3 should be labelled dlc + randomizer)
- Make sure both ryo and the bgm mod have a red cross next to their names before launching the game using Reloaded II
