This mod overhauls skill progression to be more rewarding at high levels.
Motivation
Investing additional points into skills results in diminishing returns in the base game. This means that at high levels it is often better to invest in many skills rather than specializing in a few. This mod makes investing all points into only a few skills a more viable option. Hopefully this will enable more build diversity.
Mod details
Skill overhauls have been done in the following way.
The changes are most impactful at level 30. The difference to the normal skill values at level 20 are only modest in most cases.
Compatibility
The mod was made for DS2BW V2.3.
This mod only touches a single file which means conflicts should be limited but there will be conflicts with any other mod that changes skill values.
Installation
Simply extract the mod file from the zip and drop it into your Resource folder in your Dungeon Siege 2 directory.
I have uploaded the wrong files multiple times for this mod. As of 2024-12-14 all the files should be correct. If you've downloaded the mod before this date the mod might not have contained the right files and might not have worked as intended. If this is the case just download it again and replace the old mod files.

- From level 10 up to level 30 skills progress with the same increase as between levels 9 and 10.
