If you have any experience with weather tweaking, know generally how this engine works, have some suggestions or want to try testing and improving it yourself - it would be very appreciated.

I believe you must bring back the original or the data3.pak you've been using before you installed this mod.

I'd love to know just how to adjust the day/night cycle to make nights a little longer.

If one uses this file: Optional files - Dynamic Weather (Vanilla Time Cycles)
and I also make use of another mod from another user: https://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglight/mods/453?tab=description
Do I need maybe to create a mod_order.txt ? or do something to avoid issues or the weather system (mod) you created will work well along the other mod (that has "realistic time" as you can see... but doesn't specify how realistic...)

    Thanks

Is there a way to stop the on screen blur when it's raining like water droplets on screen (but worse) it's really bad.

Does this mod we are in here, I mean the dynamic weather and extended time cycles still work?
And I was wondering if this one we are writing in the comments of would conflict with this one:
      https://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglight/mods/453/?tab=description&jump_to_comment=123910149   ?

I want to use this which is the "main installment" of my style of playing games (realism based simulation approach and no HUD for true synch with the avatar (of the player)) ..

Since there is the good news that that one linked (as others I intend to use with a max of 4 possibly and a minimum of 1 mod) is still working magically, and it also has stuff that improves time cycle.. I was wondering if this is gonna (surely) conflict and how to mount the rain stuff and othe weather with other mods so not to create issues.
Would be very happy if you could help.. With RDR2 it has been a much easy journey.. maybe I am just overthinking  with DL mod mounting being difficult, maybe it's not..

I think this mod is a great idea, one thing. I would prefer to have some sort of item that can change the weather or a keybind that changes the weather (the keybind would cycle through them all). I don't like having to go to the Main Menu and pressing continue every time I want to change the weather.

Hey, good to read your post too, so it still works? And from right the beginning to also the exapnsions?
I was wondering if this will be compatible with this mod though... this one (seems really the thing I do in games aka rething in a realistic way and immersive cinematic\machinima thoughtful gameplay and deep quality): https://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglight/mods/453?tab=files

Do you think they will conflict?

I really am looking for help, but I have no idea if there is a community that can help.

This mod is working amazingly and I am so happy with it. This is yet another one of those many many many situations that happens all the time with every game where developers cut/remove great things for no good reason. Since installing this mod and experiencing the rainy and overcast days, I've been trying to think to myself and figure out "Why? What is the reason they programmed this, put it in the files, but locked it off so nobody can experience it?" and the only answer I could come up with was that it, even though it looks great, upon close inspection, you can tell it's not completely finished. When it's overcast, the clouds don't look very good, for me (maybe it's reshade or my TV settings) the sky just looks pure white/grey most of the time. When it rains, there is no water running down the sides of buildings, or dripping off the edges of roofs. I'm sorry game developers, but you need to lower your standards and understand that I DON'T CARE if it's 100% complete or realistic or polished to perfection, what I care about is whether or not it's good and makes the game better, and this absolutely does. The overcast sky may not have clouds for me, that is a flaw, but the way the color and atmosphere of everything in the environment is affected makes it look SO AMAZING that it makes up for it and I can easily ignore the lack of clouds when not focusing on it. I love the atmosphere so much and it adds great visual variety. A few times I've had overcast transition into rain, or vice versa and it made it feel so much more realistic than most open world games, because in most open world games, the rain likes to come completely out of nowhere, out of thin air spontaneously with no warning in the matter of seconds instantly. Having an overcast transition in between rainy and sunny makes the transition so much more smooth and realistic, all game developers need to take note of this because I've never seen this in any other game before. And the rain not dripping down the sides of buildings is no reason to remove the rain effect from daytime completely (now I understand why it only rains at NIGHT in the vanilla game, because it makes it harder to NOTICE this flaw). I have an intelligent brain and I'm capable of understanding that even though the rain effects may not be 100% polished or fully realistic, the unfinished rain effects still look amazing and make the game better. It's also baffling that Techland has had 7 years to finish these effects and add them to the game in an update but they haven't. Wtf. Makes absolutely zero sense but thanks to this mod, I get to have a better version of the game so thank you very much for helping provide these phenomenal experiences.

Interesting message also offering a review of the mod implicitly, not only showing the passion as players we have for immersion and thoughful immersion as I call it, more quality over quantity gameplay.
I would not be able to play some games without modifying settings and mods as they are extremely arcade..
Like this game with full HUD on.. or others... so unconsistent as it's not a cyberpunk game,. and we don't wear goggles (sorry I am like that.. extremely pedant on simulation)

As an answer: maybe it wasn't stable or maybe it wasn't ok for a port on another platform or maybe it was a sign of "low quality" they did not wanted to have (producer said no) in order not to ruin the image of Techland or those who put the money.
That's how it works and I am with you, just to make sure you understand. I am on the side of devs, modders, and THE PLAYERS.

I am curious if it works with the entire game.
never played but I have it there ready to play and noticed that indeed , watching some videos , it would need some tweaks to make the expoerience better. From swimming to some realistic stuff and I can't stand speedy time cycles in game cannibalizing the entire game story and feeling (like rdr2 would do without "Longer days" mod).

Very curious on what mod to install for a bit of more realism like 10 to 20 minutes (Real life time) for 1 hour in game world.
10 minutes I read from the description.. It's actually good too. It's great for not noticing the hour passing (it's just at the limit of it) I would put a bit more but if it's the way it has been tested maybe it's better like that, It woul be cool if it was easier to make changes and anybody ensured it worked also with different times like 15-30 minutes...
