This workbook is a guide for your MLS career mode that tracks your clubs roster and automatically shows you if your roster falls in line with the real life MLS roster rules and salary cap limitations.
How it works:
1. Simply input your entire starting roster at the start of the career mode (Min. of player name and contract details)
2. The data you provide will feed the automation process as the workbook shows you real time how consistent your roster is with MLS rules and salary cap.
3. As you progress, update your roster (input new players, remove players, update contracts, etc.) and the workbook will do the rest.
Workbook Overview
1. How to Use This sheet provides a how to on all aspects of the workbook. If you have any questions, this is the place to go.
2. Career Overview Easily track your clubs progress over all 15 career mode seasons on this page. Here you can see your history for each season, trophy cabinet, goal leaders, transfer records, etc.
3. Rules This sheet gives a wonderful breakdown of real life MLS roster rules and salary cap limitations that are implemented within the workbook.
4. Glossary Here you can find all of the weird MLS terms that are used that make no sense to the average person (DP, HG, U-22 IP, etc.)
5. Tips A work in progress page that provides tips from myself and the community using the workbook that helps managers with managing their team.
6. Salary Tables The magic of the workbook salaries is here. I don't recommend editing this page but if you would like to change any of the salary caps, this is where it can be done and it will automatically adjust for the entire workbook.
7. Seasonal Pages This is where most of your time will be spend. Each season is identified as their year (2024, 2025, etc.). Here you have your roster for that season, input transfers in and out, adjust contracts, etc. This is also where you will see in real time if your roster abides by all the MLS rules.
