Bethesda announced on the Elder Scrolls Facebook page that the CK is on track for release on Tuesday, and also that they have a special surprise with it!

So, everyone - hang in there. It is not far away!


Update: Semi-confirmable rumours abound on the official forums, using the magic of the Steam Content Description Records that the "surprise" is an official high-res texture pack for Skyrim.

    Downloaded the HD Texture Pack tonight when it came out immediately and it took me one hour. So I guess the long loading time is not because the general Steam downloading speed is s#*!, but rather because everyone's downloading it at the moment.

    Also the HD Texture Pack sucks. If I enable the two .esps my character looks super ugly, because it obviously overwrites my previously installed beauty enhancement mods.

    Curiously the new HD texture pack contains Very few Landscape Textures...

    Road and bridge normals, kelp, mineral pools and a few others.
    Plants Trees Villages, and Cities got some love...

    Are there any conflicts with skyrum HD mod? Is it better or worse than skyrim HD? Any opinions?

    Hd pack sadly disables all my armor mods ><

    So looking for a way to remove the armors i use moded away from it lol.
