Lootmaster collects all crates left on the ground when the mission is complete. It has no effect during the rest of the mission, nor if you die or retreat from a game.
ONLINE PLAY
Lootmaster can be played online, but all players are required to have it installed. Vanilla players cannot join modded servers, so please set your server to private.
INSTALLATION
To install Lootmaster, extract its zip archive in the EDF6 folder, located in: "Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Earth Defence Force 6" When installed correctly, the installation folder should look like in the screenshot below.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Lootmaster does not require creating a new save. If you do create a new save, please equip an item in the "Empty" slot: like an accessory or a vehicle.
To run the mod on the Steam Deck, add this line in the launch options (form Desktop Mode, Library, Properties, General): WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm.dll=n,b" %command% If it still doesn't work, try forcing the game to run on different Proton versions: like Proton Experimental, or Proton 9.0-2.
You may notice that the Fencer DLC accessory Gunner's Exoskeleton seems missing, but this is not a bug: it was actually transformed into the looter function. An alternate version of the mod is available, which employs the Reverse Core Type N instead.
