About this mod

To install the mod, unzip the contents of "EDF 6 Brian Balance mod" into steamapps\common\EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6.
Modloader is included.

This balance mod has 2 goals. Weapons that were nerfed going from edf 5 to 6 have been buffed up back to their EDF 5 levels
And to buff up weapons that are too weak.

If the level 0 ranger weapon broken pa-11 has been renamed to MODDED pa-11 the mod is working.

This balance mod has 2 goals. Weapons that were nerfed going from edf 5 to 6 have been buffed up back to their EDF 5 levels (This helps me enjoy EDF 6 more as the definitive version rather than yearning for EDF5)
And to buff up weapons that are far weaker than they should be and are rarely picked because of it. Having them be actually usable should increase your loadout options a decent amount. The buffs should be well shy of making them overpowered, but they are hopefully competitive now.

Lootmaster mod has been included. this will loot all boxes at the end of the mission and increase the limit for dropped boxes spawned at one time.
If you wish to disable lootmaster, delete the EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6\Mods\MISSION folder and contents.

Armor multipliers now available. Go to EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6\Mods\DEFAULTPACKAGE and replace the config.sgo with the armor multiplier of your choice.

Changelog for balance mod

Air raider changes:

All air raider weapons and calldowns that had their reload points, cooldown, and reload time doubled from edf 5 are restored to their edf 5 values.
T2HS Rocket Launcher has had its capacity increased by 2.
Titan tanks have 33% reduced point cost
Requiem cannon has 20 ammo. Powered titan has 25 ammo for requiem cannon.
Barga and proteus have point cost reduced to more closely match edf 5
All powered exoskeletons now have a base calldown cost of 7000 points starting at 50%, to closer match edf 5 behaviour.
Air raider turrets do not work in the backpack slot. they have been removed from the backpack slot and added to the weapon slots.
Titan requiem cannon damage increased by 33% and AoE increased to 50m.
Damage of proteus mech increased to be about 2x the dps of a ranger. your teammates might now actually be tempted to ride in your turrets.
Air raider mortar drones have increased damage and blast radius.
Air raider portable bomber has increased damage.

Ranger changes:

Damage of ranger Fork missile launchers increased by 50%
Ranger bound guns have had their magazine tripled, rate of fire slightly less than tripled, and their ammo alive increased.
Reduced cost for EMC and significantly increased damage.
Varius tank series is more accurate.
3x increased range on kepler anti air vehicles.
Minion burst has reduced rate of fire and magazine but more damage.
Minion blast is now full auto.
G&M series rifles have been adjusted. The basic idea is to maintain the same dps but make it feel like an m1 garand.
Heron helicopters now usable underground and in the wasteland (Also usable by Air raider)
HU04 Brute (level 17 model) damage increased.

Fencer changes:

All fencer missile launchers can be used without air raider guidance.
Large buff to fencer light mortar damage to be closer to ranger rocket launchers.
Increased damage for bloodstorm launchers
Fencer heavy mortars now have boost instead of zoom function.
Fencer now has 25% more armor gain than ranger like EDF 5, instead of only ~6% more.
Armhound series now has a 50% damage buff.
Force MAXE has a 50% damage buff like the other weapons in the series coming from edf 5
Vulcan Hammers have +10 range and blast radius. Should feel a lot more reliable to hit things with now.
Powerdyne now has 50 ammo.

Wing diver changes:

All wing diver Plasma cannons have had their damage increased to be closer in line to ranger rocket launcher.
Geist 3, Geist D, and Geist G have had their energy cost reduced to what they were in EDF 5.
All wing diver Super weapons have had their reload time reduced by their duration to match EDF 5 behavior where they recharged during use.
Mirage 15 series has 33% reduced damage and half energy cost. Act more like they did in EDF 5 with a small buff.
Power lances damage increased to match edf 5
Dragoon lance energy usage reduced to match EDF 5
Stardust cannon and Stardust cannon A have had their damage increased to match EDF 5

Additional mod by cuteLittlegirl: "Unlock Air Raider"
This mod allows you to pick Support Equipment on every Slot for Air Raider again (just like in EDF 5). 
This only includes buffs/healing like the guard post and the power post as well as Roombas, Robot Bombs, Insect Bombs. 
This mod also enables you to pick RANGER vehicles in your vehicle tab.

Update 1.1
Fixed the fencer launchers so they can actually be used without guidance.
Reduced plasma cannon and light mortar damage cannon. forgot how fast they fire, they now match ranger dps rather than far outpace it. Still decently stronger than base game.

FAQ:

Does this work in multiplayer? 100% if all players have this mod. if not, it may cause instability. please don't subject random online players to possible crashes and balance changes, play with your modded friends.

Can this be combined with other mods? if they don't have the same files, then maybe. can always test it out.
