The Great Épée is prime fashion, but ever since I first found it I wished we had a straight sword of similar make -- so, I made it. The cup guard is gone, the entire sword is more sleek, and it has been given a straight sword moveset (same as Carian Knight's sword, with the fancy R2s, albeit you can apply any SS ash of war on it). Drew some inspiration from the Loyce Greatsword from DKS2, which was somewhat of a SS / GS hybrid in terms of appearance.
You cannot play with this mod online. You will need to unpack & patch your game using UXM, and also download the "Anti-cheat toggler and offline launcher" from Nexus. Once your game is unpacked, simply unzip this file into the Elden Ring directory -- the .dcx file should end up in the "parts" folder, and the regulations.bin should end up in the main ER directory.
This mod contains changes to regulation.bin. If you want to merge with existing mods, you will need to manually input the changes from this mod.
You may want to back up your save first, but in my experience this isn't necessary; the mod doesn't make alterations to save data. I've tried using the mod, restoring my game and re-enabling anti-cheat and attempted to play online with no issue. Still, you never know.
