Main Release
This mod is a simple CSV edit that changes the sheath position ID of straight swords and katanas to that of great swords, making them sheath on your back.
*WEAPONS AFFECTED* - Straight Swords - Katanas *INSTALLATION* (Mod Engine 2) Simple install -If you do not have any other mods that use regulation.bin file
Extract the contents of Badass SOB (Swords on Back).zip somewhere on your pc
Paste the regulation.bin file into your Mod Engine 2 > mod folder
Run the game from your Mod Engine 2 launchmod_eldenring.bat file
Slightly less simple install (but more badass) - If you do have other mods that use regulation.bin file
Extract the contents of Badass SOB (Swords on Back).zip somewhere on your pc
Copy and paste my mods EquipParamWeapon.csv into Yapped-Rune-Bear_2_1_4 > Projects > ExampleMod > CSV > ER
Run Yapped and and then (file > open) your existing regulation.bin file that should be in your Mod Engine 2 > mod folder.
In the left pane (Param) search for EquipParamWeapon. Select it and at the top toolbar in Yapped, click Field Data > Import Data
Run the game from your Mod Engine 2 launchmod_eldenring.bat file
If you would like to make your own edits or change sheath positions of other weapons
CSV edited - EquipParamWeapon.csv
Weapons - In the second pane in Yapped, you can use this parts list to help identify each weapon and row number
Field row edited (third pane) - Weapon Sheath Position ID. In the case of this mod I set the value to 25 (great sword value)
NOTE: If you have other mods that edit the same CSV (EquipParamWeapon.csv) you will have to merge them or manually edit the Sheathe Position ID for each weapon individually within Yapped.
