About this mod
Talismans in this game felt passable, forgettable and lacked noticeable impact on gameplay. The aim of this mod is to make talismans more impactful and build defining. The buffs are not meant to be OP or game breaking but rather add a higher percentage of power to talisman equipment slot. A total of 81 unique talismans have received buffs.

Buffing Methodology:
- The fundamental function of the talisman have not been changed.
- All talismans have been buffed, even options that were already strong, but they were buffed to a much lesser degree.
- The goal is to make players have to think more about what is best for a given build instead of just picking same options every time.
- I realize that I don't know everything and that people have different preferences, as such I have included documentation in the form of a excel spreadsheet that includes all the changes that were made using yapped. The documentation also includes searchable field names so the user can easily find the changes and amend them.
Notable talisman buffs
Arrow's Sting - from 10% to 230% buff to make bows and crossbows more viable. ( keep this in mind if you are using this mod in conjunction with a mod that buffs the scaling / damage of bows and crossbows. The two together could be OP ). After receiving feedback on this change I decided to released a optional mod with a reduced value, in that optional file the value has been reduced to 50%.
Ancestral Spirit's Horn - from 3 Fp to 30 Fp per kill was buffed so large to make it a strong option for caster / weapon art builds where it competes with other talismans
Installation:
STEP 1: IMPORTANT BACK UP YOUR " REGULATION.BIN " FILE.
STEP 2: USE " MOD ENGINE 2 " , IT'S THE MOST ROBUST WAY TO APPLY MODS.
Step 3: if you are not using any other mods that make changes to the " regulation.bin " file you can simply drop the " regulation. bin " file from this mod into Mod Engine 2's " mod " folder. and run the game from within Mod Engine 2.
Step 3a: If you need help setting up Yapped for step 4, 5 or just to make amendments to my changes there are 2 pictures included in the " Yapped Setup " folder that show how to get it up and running. The " load_regulation_file.jpg " picture shows how to load your " regulation.bin " file into " Yapped " and " import_row_names.jpg " shows how to fill in the row names.
Step 4: if you are already using other mods that make changes to " regulation.bin " make sure they do not make changes to the " SpEffectParam " param; usually mod creators list the params they changed in the description or in the posts section of their mod page. If the mods you are currently using don't make changes to " SpEffectParam " you can merge this mod with them using Yapped and the " SpEffectParam.csv " file included with this mod. If you don't know how to do that I have included pictures to help in the folder " How To Import ". The picture " Csv_directory_path.jpg " shows where to place the file " SpEffectParam.csv" so that it can be imported with Yapped, the second picture " Import_csv.jpg " shows where the import function is located in Yapped.
Step 5: if the other mods you are using make changes to SpEffectParam then I have included a excel file named " Talisman_buffs.xlsx " which can be used in conjunction with Yapped to manually change the talismans you want. In " Talisman_buffs.xlsx " the column labeled " The Field that was changed (Searchable in Yapped) " has the name of every field that was changed in this mod. If you are new to Yapped and don't know where to search/select the param look in the folder called " How To Search " in there is a picture named " Param_selection.jpg " that shows how to select the param " SpEffectParam " likewise there is a picture named " Talisman_search.jpg " that shows where to enter the name of the talisman you are trying to change and finally the picture " Field_search.jpg " will show where to search for the field.
