About this mod
Original NG+ is not very challenging in early and midgame areas.
This mod scales enemy health and damage in early locations to be on par with Jorney's 1 endgame without being too hard.
Updated for Elden Ring v1.16
For future versions you can update the mod yourself with Smithbox, you need to download and import csv from miscel

This mod scales enemy health and damage in early locations to be on par with Jorney's 1 endgame.
TLDR This makes so all early game enemies and bosses don't die so fast and deal more damage on New Game+
Optional version also includes Great Runes from the start and craftable Rune Arcs and Larval Tears
- The mod affects all areas until Mountaintops
and only affects NG+
- Early game enemy HP raised to Mountaintop tier
- Early game enemy damage raised to Mountaintop tier
(may sound scary, but it's not that hard on practice)
- Optional version includes being able to get Great Runes from the start through the crafting menu
as well as crafting Rune Arcs and Larval Tears with Golden Seeds and Sacred Tears
Installation:
1. Backup Elden Ring/Game/regulation.bin file
2. Replace with the modded regulation.bin instead
3. Play offline
You can put the original regulation.bin back at any time
UPD:Yapped is dead, use Smithbox
- Open regulation.bin (don't forget to backup);
- Click Field Data, Import Stock Row Names to see row names;
- Go to SpEffectParam, rows from 7400 to 7520 for early NG+ area scaling;
- Edit fields Max HP% and Power% X (don't forget Power% Holy down below) which are multipliers of enemy HP and damage.
The way Elden Ring calculates enemy damage and hp is this:
Enemy base stats x Area scaling x NG+ area scaling x NG+ cycle scaling
stats are raised to the level of Mountaintops
For example:
- Stormveil original HP area scaling is 1.813 which then gets multiplied by NG+ area scaling of 2.146
I set the latter to 3.585 which gives total of 6.5 HP scaling for NG+, similar to the Mountaintops in Jorney 1. Same with the damage.
- Leyndell original HP area scaling is 4.125 and NG+ area scaling is 1.253
I changed ng+'s to 1.575
