This mod causes the player and all human-type NPCs and enemies to ragdoll when they die instead of disintegrating.
This applies to nearly all death animations. The only exceptions are a few grabs, deathblight, and the killbox falling death.

For details, please refer to the mod page on Nexus.

Compatibilities:

Untested, but likely compatible with with Seamless Coop
Incompatible with other mods that replace "c0000.anibnd.dcx" without merging, see "Merging" section for more details

Known bugs:

Human-type NPCs who drop items may take a few seconds for their drops to appear. This also means that it's possible to lose out on items due to a corpse being kicked or sliding to an inaccessible area. This is because of the placement of the "kill character" flag in the animations, and will not be fixed
Human-type spirit summons, phantoms, and invaders will ragdoll but disappear very quickly after death. This is because these NPCs are set up to be deleted after death, and will not be fixed
May cause your runes to appear where your ragdoll was instead of where you initially died if you stay dead for longer than 10 seconds without being respawned (i.e. Seamless Coop boss fights)

Installation:

1. Download Mod Engine 2 and follow the installation process there if you don't have it already
https://github.com/soulsmods/ModEngine2/releases

(Optional: Follow the instructions for making ME2 work with Seamless Coop)

2. Extract the "ragdoll" folder to your Mod Engine folder

3. Open the file "config_eldenring.toml" and add this line to your mod list

{ enabled = true, name = "ragdoll", path = "ragdoll" }

4. Save and launch Elden Ring through ME2

Merging:

Merging this mod requires the use of Yabber or DSAnimStudio which is currently in Patreon early access for Elden Ring. You only need to do this if you already have another mod which uses "c0000.anibnd.dcx".

This mod only changes "a00.tae", which is supplied in the optional folder. Merging is a bit complicated, so I won't be going over it here, but a tutorial for Yabber is included in the readme of the tool.
