- They're both fast, and tanky, and deal a ton of damage
- Relentless heal punishing
- Fatass can just roll against a broken pillar for like.....20 whole seconds. I've seen him glitch over it too. I really don't know anymore with this game.
- They straight up overlap their attacks even when there is an exact parameter that can change this behavior and has been around since, oh, DS1 in 2009.
- Tries to be some sort of spiritual successor to Ornstein and Smough but regresses on every conceivable level.
- From Software knows this fight is bad and all they did about it was add a practically invincible summon outside the boss room, and made the noble weak to sleep and called it a day.
Because fuck this game. It does not care for the quality of your time being spent. I.e. Set piece encounters like the giant + the archers who are protected by swordsman immediately after getting Torrent (and the many like it that follow) Annoying pissant enemies like warhawks, bats, pages, royal revenants, dogs, those winged things with the axes, etc which all drop a penny farthing in the way of runes. Much of the game is too large and void of gameplay that surpasses ds2 so it makes sense to go on autopilot and make a b-line to the next boss or main dungeon, or whatever might be considered fun. (assuming you have a couple droning brain cells remaining) Anyway, fuck Elden Ring as a From soft title. Rant over.
