Description
This hairstyle mod has several options for customization so be sure to pick which version you want on the downloads page. Options include long bangs, short bangs, ribbon, no ribbon, earrings, and no earrings. This style can be installed to a unique hairstyle slot in-game or as a replacer style. Note that the replacer style could affect NPC's hair. The hair slot version will automatically take the place of hair #39. It is automatically compatible with my other hair mod (Realistic Long Hair) which uses slot #38. While it's not required, I do recommend getting the other style as well, otherwise slot #38 will be bald. Also be sure to install this mod after the long hair one if you choose to do so.

Installation Instructions
Please note that the instructions are designed to be used with ModEngine. (Also it appears that Raytracing is NOT compatible with this. I'm looking into it)

Method 1: New Hair Slot #39 (Preferred)
  • (Optional) Install my previous hair style for slot #38 ( 38 will be empty/bald otherwise)
  • Download preferred style from the downloads page (the title of the mod file describes what version it is)
  • Extract the contents of the zip file
  • Copy the 'parts' Folder into the ModEngine mod folder (skip the regulation bin it is out of date)
  • Get the updated regulation bin from the main files and place into the ModEngine mod folder
*Note: Updates to Elden Ring will break this version. I will try to update it as soon as possible. If I haven't, the other methods should still work.

Example of how your mod folder will look:

Method 2: Replacer
*This method does not break with updates, but it will replace an existing style which could affect NPC's hair
  • Download preferred style from the downloads page (the title of the mod file describes what version it is)
  • Extract the contents of the zip folder
  • Rename "hr_a_0188.partsbnd.dcx" to one of the existing hairstyles. Here are some examples:
    -Slot 13 - "hr_a_0007.partsbnd.dcx"
    -Slot 15 - "hr_a_0114.partsbnd.dcx"
    -Slot 16 - "hr_a_0002.partsbnd.dcx"
    -Slot 17 - "hr_a_0004.partsbnd.dcx"
-Slot 19 - "hr_a_0109.partsbnd.dcx" (braid, confirmed working for this one)
    -Slot 22 - "hr_a_0110.partsbnd.dcx"
    -Slot 23 - "hr_a_0107.partsbnd.dcx"
    -Slot 26 - "hr_a_0111.partsbnd.dcx"
  • Copy the parts folder to ModEngines 'mod' folder (do not use the regulation.bin file)

Method 3: Manual Param Edit (CSV in downloads)
*This method is best if you want to add it to your exiting mod setup, or just want to pick which hair slot you want
Use SmithBox to add my custom params to your setup if you wish. Basically I just add line 737 and 738 to CharMakeMenuListItemParam. using the following settings.

Hairstyle - Type 38 (optional if using my long hair mod)
  • ID: 737
  • Value: 187
  • Icon ID: 91

Hairstyle - Type 39
  • ID: 737
  • Value: 187
  • Icon ID: 91
