🔹About
This mod adds 8 different custom maps featuring PvP arenas of various shapes and sizes, along with various PvP Quality-of-Life features including several items.
This project was made to make the Duelist Event Network's Elden Ring PvP events (link to eg.) easier to host and more competitively viable, so we highly recommend you use them for your own events! We also highly recommend you join the Elden Ring PvP Discord, as many events by the ERPVP discord and other parties are announced there.
If you want to support the prize pools of these events, we'd greatly appreciate any donations on ko-fi or paypal, all of it goes to the contestants.

🔹Items & Quality-of-Life
Here's a quick summary of the various Quality-of-Life features you can find on our maps
🔸 Starting Arrow Stones
Every arena features interactable stones next to their entrances that fire a starting arrow. This can be used to coordinate when a match starts
🔸 Respawning in 2v2 Arenas
Dying in a 2v2 arena will revive you in a similar fashion to how United Combat does in the vanilla game. It has been designed a bit differently to avoid spawn-killing and other issues.
🔸2v2 Match Timer
Using a starting arrow stone on a 2v2 map will additionally start a 5 minute timer, with a 30 seconds remaining warning and a second projectile to indicate when the match ends.
🔸Multi-map play
The map is usable at all times in this mod, and doesn't require a vote for players to travel. Players can exist between multiple maps at once in the same session without any of the usual desync issues.
🔸No Seamless Rot
Seamless Co-op has a PvE balance feature where subsequent deaths builds up "Rot". A series of special items that stack various debuffs on your character which are only cleared upon resting a grace. Since this is a PvP mod, this feature is disabled for obvious QoL reasons.
🔸Item: Braid of Marika
- Use this item to toggle on/off automatic revival on death.
- When dying with this item active, your player will be healed and reset, while going through a short revival animation.
- This can be used to have PvP sessions with lower downtime between fights, as you won't have to go through a long loading screen and death animation
- (For more information, look at Q&A section)

🔸Item: Regressive Grease
- Use this item to quickly and on-demand fully heal and restore your character to it's normal state, a bit like using a grace.
- This can be used to have PvP sessions with lower downtime between fights, as you won't need to go through the trouble of restoring health and fp with flasks, wait for buffs to run out, reset poise, or clear status effects.
- (For more information, look at Q&A section)

🔸Item: O'Jar of Plenty
- Use this item to toggle on/off infinite usage of goods.
- While this item is active, you won't lose any items you use, and their quantity will remain the same.
- This can be used to have PvP sessions with lower downtime between fights, as you won't need to worry about restoring stocks of consumables at the grace, or going through the trouble of turning off PvP to craft additional pots, aromatics etc.

🔸Fire starting signal stones
- These stones, identified by a rock with a floating plaque of weapons & shields, can be interacted with to fire off a starting signal into arenas on a delay.
- Some stones are located adjacent to the arena, and some are placed in spectator spots. The standard delay is 10 seconds after inputting, but some spectator stones have a delay as low as 5.
- Starting signals are not required to start a match, but are highly recommended for tournament organizers as it is a solid means of ensuring a fair start to a match.
- If you are using this feature for tournaments, we recommend you instruct players to specifically not perform any actions till the arrow hits the ground.
🔹Install guide
That's all you have to do.
Your original save and game will be untouched, and you can launch the vanilla game or seamless normally at any time.
The setup that this script automatically does for you includes:
- Checking for updates to the mod and applying them (Versions 1.6.0 and later)
- Downloading and setting up it's dependencies: ModEngine and Seamless Co-op (For modded connectivity)
- If you don't already have a .den save, makes a copy of your current vanilla or seamless save file.
- Prompts you to set a multiplayer password
- Launches the game through modengine w/ DEN Maps & Seamless Co-op
🔹Multiplayer guide
- Warp to an arena: Once you're loaded into the game with the mod working, All maps can be found and traveled to via the in-game map menu (Check the cloud in the center of the map!)
- Hosting a world/Joining a world: If you are intending to host, use the
Tiny Great Pot
item to open your world. If you are looking to join someone else's world, simply use theEffigy of Malenia
item to do so once they've opened it. - Starting PvP: The host must enable PvP through the
Judicator's Rulebook
item, by setting the rule "All wanderers are hostile". Enter an arena of your choice, and start PvPing however you like. If you want to insure a fair start, you can use theFire starting arrow
stones to launch a timed starting signal into the center of the arena.
🔹Additional Tips
- If you're hosting a tournament, fight club or any kind of PvP event, be sure to restrict the usage of the mod's items in line with what you have in mind for your specific event. For example, you'd probably want to prohibit the usage of "Regressive Grease" during the match, but you may be okay with the usage of the "Braid of Marika" as dying with it active counts as a normal round loss. Or as another example, you may want to prohibit the usage of "O'Jar of Plenty" if you think it being allowed would enable stalling tactics too hard
Q) Can this ban me?
A) If you follow the install guide on this page, you'll launch the game with Seamless Co-op which never loads your vanilla save file "ER0000.sl2". Therefore, there is no way to get yourself banned with this mod as long as you don't transfer your Seamless save back to vanilla. If you do transfer your save back, there's no guarantee that this does or does not get you banned. This mod also doesn't at all modify your game folder, so you don't need to worry about having trouble uninstalling it when you want to play the vanilla game, and having any potential ban problems.
Q) Can I use these maps in my own mod?
A) Please do not make modified versions of our mod and distribute them. It makes it harder to track down bugs and ensure the files are safe.
Q) What exactly does Braid of Marika/Regressive grease do when it heals/restores your character?
A) Here's a full list of what they do upon healing
- Restores 100% of your HP, FP
- Applies all effects of "Law of Regression" which clears all status buildup, active buffs including Physick etc.
- Refills your Flask of Wonderous Physick
- Restores your hidden "poise health" value to 100%
- Interrupts any active grab animation
- Clears your hidden "DamageCount" value aka stagger count which can sometimes be bugged and allow you to roll earlier in unintended situations
