General Changes
- Most ashes of war, consumables and spells that buff your character have their duration set to 5min. Can be extended to infinite with Old Lord's Talisman.
- Recipes: have been added to allow crafting some DLC and otherwise non replenishing consumables. Crafting cost and recipe acquisition still WIP.
- Weapon Overhaul: special armaments can now swap ashes of war, and equipable categories have been expanded. Elemental infusions are also unlocked.
- Legendary Armaments: All legendary armaments are being buffed to be made more generally usable. WIP.
- Crystal Tears: components for the flask of Wondrous Physick that have a duration now last until you die or rest.
- Talisman Buffs: are more powerful, and can enable more builds or complement under-performing ones.
- Magic Overhaul: spells/Incantations cost 1 memory slot, and have their tracking and lifetime increased. Some spells were given additional functionality.
- Passive Great Rune Effects: now have passive bonuses active at all times, similar to Great Rune Overhaul.
Most of these changes are tailored to personal preference, but feedback is welcome!
Spell Edits
Nearly all single shot projectiles have extended duration to reach the distance of lock-on.
Sorceries had single shot gravity removed, Incantations had them reduced to reach lock-on.
Glintstone Stars/Star Shower/Stars of Ruin
- Increased tracking and duration to reach lock-on distance.
- Increased tracking and duration to reach lock-on distance.
- Now regenerates FP while active. [+2FP/sec]
- Increased tracking and duration to reach lock-on distance.
- Less gravity and more range. Now explodes upon impact. Increased charged FP cost.
- Charging the spell detonates it on target instantly.
- No gravity and more range. Increased charged FP cost.
- Charging the spell launches a massive fireball that leaves fire on the ground instead of magma.
- Increased channeling FP cost.
- Channeling the spell for 2sec+ will conjure an orb of fire that will continue to spew embers until it explodes.
- Increased duration and tracking.
- Does a minor amount of magic and stamina damage when foes persist in cloud.
- Now launches a much faster ice spike with increased stagger damage.
- Charging the spell launches an Icecrag that explodes in a moderate radius. Reduces the targets magical resistances.
- Increased charge FP cost and increased tracking of all projectiles.
- Increased duration and tracking.
- Does a minor amount of holy and stamina damage when foes persist in cloud.
- Changed functionality, now spawns a slow moving skull that tracks the target and releases apparitions before exploding to release more.
- Can cast more than one skull now, similar to Glintblade sorcery.
- Increased range.
- Increased damage by about 40%, reduced FP channeling cost by 10%.
- Increased tracking and duration to reach lock-on distance.
- Meteorites now cause a gravitational eruption after impact.
- Charged version now conjures clouds above the target Slightly increased tracking.
- Charged clouds now slowly disperse in a radius around the casting point, and then cast the uncharged version upon expiration.
- Increased duration and reduced secondary fire anti-gravity.
- Bayle's Tyranny spawns magma around the caster and casts the very end of Bayle's Flame Lightning on impact.
- Bayle's Flame Lightning now spawns pillars of fire around the area of impact.
- Main projectile explodes to cast Wave of Gold and Golden Land on impact.
- Replaced spell with a custom one, Golden Prayer.
- Grants a powerful but fleeting defensive buff, and unleashes a wave of gold.
- Initial cast creates and ice storm, and the launched projectile storm is now lightning based.
- All around buff to cast red bolts of lightning on the tail end of any spawned red static. (Spear/Glaive got the most attention)


Placidusax's Ruin
- Added red lightning bolts on cast and on the laser to make the damage more consistent around the player.
- Buffs the caster with Dragonbolt of Florissax's body buff.

Surge O Flame!
- Nearly doubled flame stream distance and acceleration.
- Spawns double amount of fire pillars in a more consistent area around player.
- Charging now spawns the clouds overhead the target and casts the uncharged version afterwards.
- Increased duration of clouds and buffed stagger/damage by about 25%.
Weapon/Ash of War Edits
Greatswords
- The following greatsword armaments have their heavy attacks swapped to a thrusting attacks:
- -Bastard Sword
- -Lordsworn's Greatsword
- -Banished/Knight's Greatsword
- -Sacred Relic Sword. (Enchants weapon with Golden Blade.)
- -Golden Order Greatsword (wave now fires farther, assisted by holy bolts. Enchants weapon with Golden Blade.)
- Starscourge Greatsword AoW now enchants the armament with Cragblade after the last explosion.
- Also gives a gravity aura body buff to the caster, which increases the poise damage of all attacks.
- Royal Greatsword AoW now enchants the armament with Frozen Armament when the added frost wave is cast.
- Also gives a cold aura body buff to the caster, which adds frostbite to all attacks.
- Helphen's Steeple default AoW is now Ghostflame Ignition and Ghostflame Ignition buffs the weapon with Ghostflame.
- Rellana's Twinblades now buff with Royal Magic Grease or Messmer's Flame Grease depending on the weapon art cast.
- Ordovis's Vortex now casts a Spiral from Spira at the casters location, and Spira regenerates a burst of HP after cast.
- Miquellan Knight's Sword default AoW is now Miquella's Ring of Light. Summons a light pillar on hit and buffs with Sacred Blade.
- Golden Epitaph default AoW is now Blade of Gold. Summons holy bolts on hit, and gives the previous Last Rites buff.
- Meteoric Ore Blade default AoW is now Wave of Destruction, and the wave now splits into a cone at the end.
- Also gives a gravity aura body buff to the caster, which increases the poise damage of all attacks.
- Dragonscale Blade now casts Frozen Lightning Spear after the initial ice lightning bolt.
- Moonveil's Transient Moonlight projectiles fly farther and deal more stance damage.
- Bolt of Granssax AoW is now much more potent, spawning red lightning bolts and exploding on impact.
- Sword of Night and Flame AoW now has a supplemental spell attached to the original.
- Comet Azur spawns a Glintblade Phalanx, the Flame Burst now erupts with pillars of fire.
- Grants Scholar's Armament or Flame Blade depending on which sorcery was cast from its weapon art.
- Ruins Greatsword heavy attack (R2) now summons meteorites.
- Eclipse Shotel AoW grants a death flame body buff that grants immunity to holy damage and death blight. All attacks also inflict a small amount of fire and holy damage for the duration.
- Grafted Blade AoW now provides hyperarmor against most stagger for its duration. Updated vfx for the buff.
Great Rune Passive Effects
Godrick's Great Rune
- Passive ability increases all attributes by 1.
- Passive ability restores FP. [+2 FP/5sec]
- Passive ability boosts rune acquisition from foes. [10%]
- Changed active HP/FP/STA increase ability to a passive one. [15% -> 5%]
- Active now drains status buildup every second. [5/sec]
- Passive ability restores HP. [1% HP/5sec]
- Passive ability restores HP when blood loss occurs around the player. [5%HP]
- Passive ability reduces stamina cost for weapon attacks. [10%]
- No passive effect, but now provides the effects of a Rune Arc when used (in addition to previous charm resist).
Tear Edits
Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear
- Now drains 5% FP when hit with a non-physical attack. [0% -> 5%]
- Heals 1% HP when hit with a non-physical attack. [5% -> 1%]
- Increased absorption values. [0.85 -> 0.60]
- Increased absorption values (removed extra damage taken). [1.15 -> 1.0]
- Increased stamina damage. [1.3 -> 2.0]
- Increased damage multiplier. [1.2 -> 2.0]
- Now drains a flat 1% HP with each hit. [0.2%+20 -> 1%]

- Now reduces FP consumption by 75%

Crucible Tree/Axe Armor
- Now grants you hyper armor against most stagger.
- Helm grants +1 to all attributes
- Armor grants hyper armor against most stagger.
- Gloves grant increased charge attack damage.
- Greaves grant increased jumping attack damage.
- Helm grants increased item discovery.
- Armor grants increased dodge roll invincibility.
- Gloves grant guarding stamina efficiency.
- Greaves grant improved backsteps.
- Leda's Armor is slightly more potent.
- Each piece grants .025% bonus damage with Dragon Communion incantations.
- Also slightly boosts the effects of Dragonwound variant greases/attacks.
- Helm now increases Death sorceries damage (5%) in addition to Dragon Cult incantations.
- Doubled healing efficiency and it now triggers under 50% hp instead of 18%.
- Helm increases Carian Sword sorcery damage (5%).
- Armor increases Glintblade sorcery damage (5%).
- Bandit Garb increases dexterity by 2.
- Bandit Boots muffles footstep sound.
