Changelogs
The latest version of this mod is compatible with Elden Ring v.1.16 released 10/17/2024.

Description
This mod makes an infinite number of Larval Tears purchasable from:
  • Twin Maiden Husks
  • Abandoned Merchant Siofra River
  • Pidia, Carian Servant

How to Install
If using ModEngine2:
  • Extract the regulation.bin file in this zip to your ModEngine2 mod folder.
  • Launch Elden Ring with ModEngine2 Launcher.

Otherwise, you can install it directly to your Elden Ring Game directory:
  • Navigate to your Elden Ring Game folder (eg: "..\Steam\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game")
  • Make a backup of your current regulation.bin file.
  • Replace your current regulation.bin file with the modded one provided in this zip.
  • Launch Elden Ring (not on official matchmaking servers).

How to Use
You can purchase an infinite number of Larval Tears from the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold for 3,000 runes each.

You can also purchase an infinite number of Larval Tears from the Abandoned Merchant Siofra River or Pidia, Carian Servant for 3,000 runes each. Both of these merchants normally just sell one Larval Tear.

Corrupted Save Data Issues
Modifications to regulation.bin can cause corruption of save data for various reasons. It is recommended that you make a backup of your save files before trying this mod in the event that your save files become corrupted. Your save files can be found in your "..\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing" folder.

If you encounter a "Save data is corrupted" message after launching the game, this fix has worked for me without needing to use my backup: First try relaunching the game with the vanilla/unmodified regulation.bin file. If the error is gone when you do this, open your save and then exit to desktop. You can then try relaunching the game with the modified regulation.bin and the mod should work as expected. If the error persists, replace your corrupted save files with the backups you made and try these steps again.

Easy Anti-Cheat Warning:
To avoid being banned / flagged by Easy Anti-Cheat, please ensure you are NOT using this modified regulation.bin file on Elden Ring's matchmaking servers, but are either offline via something like ModEngine2 or Seamless Coop. To use the matchmaking servers again, simply remove the modified regulation.bin file and replace it with your unmodified backup. If you do not have an unmodified backup, you can restore the original regulation.bin by verifying the integrity of your game files on Steam.
