This mod is an expansion for thefifthmatt’s item and enemy randomizer mod and is intended to be used only with that mod. Additionally, specific custom item placement settings are required for the mod to work as intended. This mod is for use in rando races for the purposes of balancing the important locations in the shadow realm. There are 9 new important locations, listed below, that are primarily in the lower half of the shadow realm that make previously weaker locations more viable. The mod also adds a larval tear in the Chapel of Anticipation for DLC start, and the Pureblood Knight’s medal after Morgott’s arena for guaranteed DLC access after defeating the boss in that arena (allows for ‘mega rando’ race that begins in base game and ends in DLC).
New important locations
-Prospect town (Outer God’s Heirloom chest)
-Church of Benediction (new chest behind statue)
-Suppressing Pillar chest
-Dragon’s Pit Terminus (on a corpse by the grace)
-Grand Altar of Dragon Communion (on a corpse in the giant dragon’s mouth)
-Jagged Peak Mountainside (on a corpse on the path to Bayle)
-Forsaken Graveyard (on a corpse after the fight with Jori)
-Church Ruins (on a corpse in the flowers)
-North Rauh Base (on a corpse in the pond with bloodfiend enemies)

Set Up
Launch the item enemy randomizer application. At the top of the window, choose "Import options file..." from the options menu. Navigate to the rando_expansion folder and choose the "expansion_preset.randomizeopt" file. This will set all settings to what they need to be for the expansion mod to work. Now choose "Merge other mod" and "Select regulation.bin to merge." Again, navigate to the rando_expansion folder and choose the regulation.bin. You can now reroll the seed and select "Randomize items and enemies."
