Replaces the Claymore or the Godskin Stitcher with Hornet's Needle from Hollow Knight.
What's included in the mod?
You can choose to download the sword as a replacement for:
Claymore (found in Castle Morne).
Godskin Stitcher (dropped by Godskin Noble at Volcano Manor).
How to Install
With ModEngine2 (Recommended):
Get ModEngine2 if haven't yet and follow its setup instructions.
Open mod zip file.
Extract files to '...\ELDEN RING\Game\mod\parts\'.
Without ModEngine2:
Unpack your game files with UXM, then click on "Patch".
Extract the mod files to '...\ELDEN RING\Game\parts\' overwriting the files (you should make a backup of the original ones first).
Known Issues
I've seen other mods where you can rename the name of the files to match a different weapon, this doesn't seem to work with this mod, but feel free to give it a try.
The normal maps or tangent space are not perfect after importing the 3D model so lighting/details on the mesh may look a little bit wonky at times.
No weapon trails. If I try to add them they appear misaligned, so I decided to not include them until there's a way to add them properly.
If you know the solution to any of these, get in touch or leave a message in the posts section and I'll look into it. Thanks!
