About this image
Inspired by the recent release of Fallout: London, I decided to check out Enderal as well. I'm actually waiting until FOLON's launch pains are resolved before giving it a whirl, so I figured this is the perfect time to try Enderal...
Given it's now stand-alone at both Steam and GOG... I was afforded a nice, simple installation process, which is perfect for my current state of mind. Upon initially running the game, I was utterly blown away by how beautiful it is, and just how well it has aged, in contrast with vanilla Skyrim. That said... I found the NPCs (and character creation) needed a little TLC, but I was having trouble finding what I wanted in terms of actual Enderal-designated replacers. So, instead.... I downloaded UNP, Tempered Skins and Vanilla Hair Replacer over at the Skyrim side of Nexus. I'm also using some simple upscaled textures, Obsidian Weathers and Reshade.
So far, I'm very happy with the results, and the lack of complications. As I said, I'm really not up to anything complex these days.

Enderal is one of the best games to date. It captivated me deeply and drew me into its world for a very long time.
I enjoyed every moment of it. It's very good. PS: There are great followers and mods.
Have a great evening. I look forward to your pictures.

When you say 'followers," do you mean within the game itself, or modded companions? I think I've already met one potential companion? Jesper? He's still waiting for me in the tavern, though, because I don't want to advance the main quest quite yet. Jespar, like the entire game, does seem very well written, based on what I've seen.
To be honest, given narrative-driven games are my first love, so far I think I prefer this to Skyrim.
Also, are there any mods you'd particularly recommend?
A lovely night to you, as well.
I mean the companions from the game. They are well written and an asset. I like Calia Sakaresh.
Great story. The village, the town, the world is so different. Better, more beautiful.
I use a few Skyrim texture mods and the usual body mods.
A great expansion: EAM SE - Enderal Apothecarii Monastery,
Have fun and enjoy Enderal. "Walk blessed" yC
Here, I've just added a few visual mods, and called it a day. It took only a few hours, and wasn't headache-inducing. That said, the mod you linked looks fantastic, so thanks for that. I put it on Tracking, and will install it once I've played more of the game.
I'm also looking forward to meeting the companions. This is an area where I'm extremely critical of Skyrim; I mean, Serana is OKish, but every other vanilla companion is a cardboard cutout. This is a large part of why I prefer FO4 over Skyrim (minority opinion, I know)… the companions have actual personalities.
