This is a quick patch to remove the green water cubemap from the Old Temple's worldspace entry - the beach and little inlet your main character finds themselves washed ashore on.

Features
  • Fixes the odd green water shading in the Old Temple.
  • Lightweight .esp flagged .esl - only changes the worldspace record and nothing else.

Install Instructions
Download and place near the end of your load order - preferably after your DYNDOLOD esp or at the very end of your load order.

Technical Details and Thoughts

I was annoyed at the green water cubemap shading after you exit the Meditation area and your character ends up ashore on the small cave inlet. If you do a lot of mod making like me, you'll also notice the green water cubemap seems to permeate if you teleport or coc out of the cave area, aftecting other worldspaces too until you do a full reload of the game. I got annoyed enough to dive in and investigate.

There is a specific entry in the CK wiki on worldspace data here that details worldspace data. Of note is the line Water Environment Map which the wiki notes as not used. While it may not be used in any of Skyrim's worldspaces - the game engine still reads this data and applies it for the worldspace.

For Enderal's Old Temple worldspace, it was set to the dungeon water green cubemap as the default, causing you to load in the zone with a murky green water. Whether this was intended by the Enderal devs or not - it looks murky and dank, especially if you're using an ENB. This mod removes this value and changes the water type back to the Default Water record, and the green water is gone.

You don't have to be running an ENB to benefit from this, it'll affect Vanilla as well if you check the images above.
