About this mod

Add more immersion to your Playable Driver mod with this. Now you can use their helmet, including their helmet model!

REQUIREMENT:

INSTALLATION:
  • Download and install the Semi-Modular Mods Base Files from the link provided above
  • Download the Playable Drivers mod files
  • Make your choice and enter into one of the drivers folder
  • Copy the [fonts.erp] file and paste it into the following directory: [F1 23\2023_asset_groups\ui_package\]
  • Download the Driver's Helmet files here (choose which driver)
  • Extract the rar and copy paste the rar content to your F1 23 folder

MOD EXPLANATION:
  • fonts_efigs_r_p: Where the main files located. Basically merged file between common00 and driver'shelmet
  • fonts_standard_icons: Extra files that contain common_helmet. This for determine helmet N file and visor color
  • Both are stripped of mipmaps for easy textures editing (more info below)

MODIFYING TEXTURES:
  • fonts_efigs_r_p: For helmet D, M and S replace the 2023-common-00. For helmet wing D, M, N and S (if the helmet model have any) replace the drivername_helmet_wing. Same applied for visor_attachment, replace the drivername_visor_attachment accordingly
  • fonts_standard_icons: Only replace charname_helmet_n and charname_visor_d

NOTES:
  • This mod not compatible with any helmet mods
  • This mod not compatible with any mods that replace [fonts_efigs_r_p] and [fonts_standard_icons]
  • IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED THIS MOD FROM MY PATREON BEFORE OR VERSION 1.0, PLEASE VERIFY GAME FILES OR USE BACKUP FILES FROM SEMIMOMODS AND REDO THE WHOLE INSTALLATION STEP
