About this image

...A screen from the mod I'm working on right now which seeks to expand Rivet City.

This one's from an area of the Aft Hangar, the more down trodden, crime ridden region of the ship.

As of this moment only the Rivet City Market area is finished-going for the Flea market/china-town look.

I'll make a WIP thread on the Fallout 3 Underground Forums for this once I've got a bit more work done on this. All this crap'll get condenced into it anyow. Till then I'll post screenies here every now and then showing my progress. ^^

One of the many new bars added by this mod. This is where the local hardasses and verteran wastelanders hang out-as apposed to the varrying traders who use the two new bars in the market as their hangouts, though neither are too reputable. Just don't start a fight there, the patrons are too strung after their time out in the wastes for another wasteland asshole to mess with their relaxation time.

If I get around to it I might add a few quests to this places, from the patrons, barmaid-somthing about her sister working in the local Mob run whorehouse-and use the bounty board that I placed in their for character. Or maybe just give the wastelanders some interesting rumours and stories to talk about-though I really need to shape up on my dialouge skills, any decent tutorials out there?

World building and Sandbox I can do, diaolouge and quests not so much. It'd be great once this gets out of the WIP stages to have some custom meshes and textures, but for the moment I don't really want to think that far ahead-though I've got so many ideas for things already-, so for the moment only Vanilla resources with the odd modder's resource. I just hope there isn't some fatal flaw in it which'll cause a CTD to people, though none so far to my knowledge.

Required mods thus far:

DLC Anch-If I knew how to take this of the required ESM list I would, as the meshes this brings to this mod could be replaced with others, though I do prefer having the clutter pieces from this.

DLC Point Lookout: For a wider variety in street litter, signs, posters, a negligable stall in the market district, clutter, clutter, clutter, and loads more as the mod progresses.

DLC Broken Steel: As this was a personal mod I orginally added Aqua Pura to the RC Securaty forces warehouse, and their still there. Some of the clutter comes from this, plus exploding barrels which would be pivitol in a quest I have planned, but it could be possible to replace some of the items with others, though I don't know what I would put in the warehouse instead of the crates, and the barrels could be merged out with something else with little effort.

FOOK...shit. I've used FOOK and CALIBR to outfit the locals with a wide array of killing tools, and also to add a bit more character to some stalls and other areas. I'd really not like to decrease the variety of weapons and clothing found in the mods, and I'm really into tracking down a load of mods to fill in for the number of items included in FOOK.

Wow, that looks great. Hope you do something to avoid the customers stealing all the nukas in the back like they do in Muddy Rudder and Moriarity's. The places gets empty after a short while -.-'

Did you get some ideas from this concept art picture? Very nice.

Well as of the moemnt I've got the basic layout done for the Aft Hangar and am moving to personalise it-adding bars, traders, living spaces etc-but none of the "interior" sections of the Aft Hangar have been started, planned though.

Minor changes have been done to the rest of the ship at the moment, but I'm hoping to overhaul the other regions in the same fashion as I did the market area-which is complete sept for NavMeshing (as I keep getting a mysterious crash whenever I attempt one), oh why couldn't it be like Oblivion's Path Gridding system...

Due to Exams, and the amount of work left to do, I'd say that to get everyting apart from the interiors done would take another month or so, though I still have to seek the permission of a few modders to use their resources (this has always been a personal mod so I never thought to ask).

    ^^
