I would like to make a Cobra Island world space...but I am not sure how to even begin...If anyone out there is able to make worldspaces with LOD and navmesh and is interested in helping me on this project...I have detailed maps of what I am looking to accomplish based on the general layout of the Island accordging to my GI Joe comics...and I only need the worldspace made, I will populate it with NPCs, Idle Markers, Junk, Vehicles and likely interiors...unless someone wants to help with the interior spaces(I already know basically what I need, and have scaled layouts drawn-up for some of the interiors)...If anyone is interested, PM me on this...
I will likely do a Cobra Expansion for NV...hopefully most of this stuff will port over to it...for NV I plan on sticking to the base story I'm using for Cobra's excuse for being in the wasteland in Fo3...
What I came up with was this. You say CCCP will be ready 'bout a month after NV right. It shouldn't be too hard to convert CCCP from fo3 to fo-nv (after all, a fair amount of stuff has been converted from oblivion to FO3, so converting stuff from FO3 to FO-NV shouldn't be all that different and difficult to accomplish). Most of the stuff you should be able to convert (like armor, vehicles, characters, mayby some of the scripting, etc) with permissions. Stuff like the Pilotable vertibird you might not be able to convert either due to difficulty or copyright. At least you could use these mods as a base for your own versions. Between the companions, gear, quests, all new and personal factions, and your wit. CCCP would be one of the most successful mods for FO-NV. Just something I cooked up. I would like to conquer Vegas with a legion of cobra troops. I always wanted to set a casino for myself that I could always win at. Same reason why I prefer poker to chess...easier to cheat <joke>.
I was hoping to have my CCCP overhaul done before New Vegas...but I estimate my to do list for the mod is going to put me almost a month after New Vegas...which might not be so bad considering everyone will have had a month to binge out on it, and the die-hards will come back to Fo3 for their mod fix...
EDIT...didn't know New Vegas was pushed back to the end of October...so this mod will likely be out right around the same time or a week or so sooner...don't hold me to that though, I work two jobs and try to have a social life on top of it...

I lack words to describe at how impressed I am. I look forward to the prospect of flying it around. Much cooler than those dorky vertibirds.
