This thing was so simple, but hell I couldn't play for 10 minutes because I was rofling.

Water sources, they seem unnecessary and overpowered in some situations. When just starting off on Extreme Difficulty (see Pre-emptive Question answering), these things are what you DEPEND ON.
On high difficulties, rad-away's will have the same value (or perhaps more) than stimpacks, just because you keep drinking from water sources. Downside to watersource drinking is that radiation will actually become one of your many troubles in early-game.

On low difficulties, you can do two things.
- Go near-godmode and drink from water sources until the pipelines are void of any water.
- Ignore any water sources you find and let those raiders actually have a chance.

Water sources, they're discrete but usefull.

Pre-emptive question answering

Q: Some line in that description pointed at these... Or I just felt lazy and started reading here.
A: Extreme difficulty, if you're good at the game and reached level 20/are using companions, Very Hard is EASY. You heard me, high-sneak or T51-b/Reilly Armor and there is NO challenge in Very Hard.
I found a mod though (get it here http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3637) that edited difficulties. It gave me the possibility to edit it myself. So here's what I did:
Very Hard: You do 50% of your original damage, take 200% damage of enemies' original damage and gain twice the normal experience for stuff you do.
Extreme: You do 33% of your original damage, take 250% damage of enemies' original damage and gain HALF the normal experience for stuff you do. (Is 200% damage taken in original, I edited this for personal use).
Need more or diffirent difficulty? Download it, look into FO3Edit or GECK tutorials and edit it (as long as you do so for personal use or with permission, DON'T DO MOD-PIRACY, KIDS!)

Q: This is funny and somewhere feel the need to go look at this in-game. Where do I look?
A: It's red and slower than it's name would tell, look for a factory where they make those.
