About this image

Just a bit of touching up of the armor I started working on ages ago. Male one is finished, exported and tested in-game, working like a charm. Female version is probably finished, needs to be rigged/exported and it's still not tested in-game.

I don't know where, but someone said it's easier to make female armors than male ones. That's bulls***, I was done with the male armor in a day, and it took me 3 days just to get the belt bags to look half-decent on the female one. Those belt bags gave me a headache from hell.

Anyway, I'd like some feedback on these, I think I'm done but if anyone thinks something should be added/removed/changed, feel free to say so.

And all the users will look up at me, and cry Can you make this BB compatible?!

And I'll look down, and whisper, no!

I see you're using UPP. And this should be a perk too, when activated, instantly converts all bodies to vanilla

"Not to mention everyone ends up requesting them for a different body"

Ugh. And all the users will look up at me, and cry "Can you make this BB compatible?!"

And I'll look down, and whisper, "no!"

I've just pretty much started telling people that if they know someone who does conversions to other bodies they can by all means use whatever I've made. It's a true pain in the @$$ to convert so many models.

@nivea I tried to stay as close as possible to vanilla leather armor concept and I made minimal changes to the leather armor itself. Mostly because it reminds me of Mad Max too much. And in the beginning it was to be male only but after a while I decided to make a female version too thinking it will be easy. I thought wrong.

@Knyghtfall Already did that, the armor weights 15 lbs and it has Increase Carry Weight +20 effect, along with another one I can't remember right now. Remove 15 from the effect (armor weight) and you have the carry weight increased by 5 lbs. It's not much but it's capable of carying it's own weight and 5 lbs more. And believe me, 5 lbs means much when you're trying to think of what will you throw away to pick up that giant teddy bear you want.

looks really good, have you thought about scripting a carrying increase to reflect the pouches. i think it could add probably 10-15 lbs to the over all carrying capacity

I like it, just different enough from the normal leather but still perfect for the setting and game. Plus I am always looking for more male armors!

I agree making most female stuff is harder for me then male items. D:

Thanks guys, I actually thought I should just delete it because I didn't like it and learning how to rig was hell but in the end I decided I should just finish it since too much time and work went into it. I'm glad you like them.

They can request whatever body they want but it doesn't mean that I'll convert it. And since the mesh will be free to use and edit, I'll be happy to tell them to do it themselves

@freddy_farnsworth Who's Harden? Do you mean the sheriff's kid?
