Ah, even TAI won't stop her from occasionally brain-farting. I have to explicitly disable HER processing after I found the right pose. Of course, while in that mode she also won't change poses. So while trying several poses to see which looks best, I have to pray that I find a good pose before she brain-farts and stops accepting poses at all. The recourse to that is to turn on AI generally, then turn it off, letting her complete whatever script she's stuck on. Then she's good and ready to accept a few more poses. Half the time, however, that means now some townie NPC has entered the shop and is photo-bombing my scene or even occasionally pushing my NPCs around. (Though occasionally it gets funny. In the last panel, Brisa was pushed just right against the railing by such an NPC, saving me the bother of positioning her myself <img class="> ) Cuss, move the NPC somewhere out of the way, start posing Brisa again. She gets stuck again, TAI, TAI, now the townie NPC came back from the next room too, and maybe a second one entered the shop. <img class=">

Ah well, I guess a challenge is good, right? <img class=">

I know what you mean abut Brisa, what I do when a character won't play the game is use the console command TAI, this will shut down her processing after you have posed her, then use it again when you have finished the shot, hope this helps.

    cheers

Well, technically there isn't much photoshopping, except raising the brightness (and contrast a bit to compensate, so it doesn't look washed out) when the scenes are shot in relatively dark places. There is the stuff like making a weapon out of the Pitt shovel in NifSkope or making duplicates of characters in the Geck, like placing an extra Mr Burke without the scripts in the shop, but that's not really the worst. In fact, it's pretty easy.

TBH, the #1 frustration is getting the NPCs to stay posed. Especially Brisa (Sammantha) is grrreat as a companion because of being so heavily scripted, and, really, it's my favourite in FO3. Awesome if used as a companion. Thumbs up. But it's a pain to get her to stay in any position I want her to, or at times even to get her to do the poses at all. Strong willed girl, that one <img class="> But yeah, at times it seems about on par with trying to bugger a hedgehog. You might be able to figure out a way to get the job done, but it requires quite a bit of pain tolerance and it won't be half as fun as it sounds <img class=">

And then comes such stuff as discovering at the end... <bleep!>, Maxine had reset to size 1.0 instead of 0.9 AGAIN. Well, I didn't shoot the whole thing again for that, lemme tell you <img class=">

In any case, I'm not just saying it to vent, but you might want to learn from that if you decide to do your own. Pick a standard companion if you want an easier life posing them. It's what I'd do if I were to start all over again.

At any rate, thanks for the kind words, everyone.

At first I did not like your comic, but now I love it, great work, please keep it going.

@arsenicmyst - well put, it's nice to see someone telling a comic maker that they appreciate the work that goes into creating a comic, good on you. Kudos from me.

    Cheers

simply stated, i am in awe of the amount of work & time it takes, you and 0thers put into creating multi-image strips ... from concept, to creating poses, the staging of characters in synchronicity within game and, photoshopping ... not to mention the frustrations of added detailing using fmm & geck ... and not for just 1 picture, but for 12 of them !!!

to be honest, as much as i have fought against it, and neither wanted or expected, i've learned from, and have been inspired and driven by every uploaded image and mod i've seen on this site ... thanks!

Burke as punching bag AND experimental test subject. What's not to love? Wish this was an option in the actual game.

If there is one person that I love to see suffer, well that's just Burke...wait a minute I'm finishing up laughing ... ok I'm done ... I was sure that your imagination, here in Megaton, we would give amazing strip. The "cold" tranquility of the two girls in front of their disasters is unparalleled. You see, I'm starting to think seriously that you're a genius ...

Yeah, I thought it's a pity there aren't more options to make a point that psychopathy is somewhat less cool when one is on the receiving end of it <img class=">

ROFLMAO - It's really a pity that the only way to deal with Mr. "The Creep" Burke is to tell the sheriff. Would've positively loved to have such an option :-)
I can see Sam is learning the ropes. Looks as if we've got another Deadly Duo on the large. Doesn't bother well for the bad guys/girls of the wasteland -and those just unlucky enough to be on the wrong end of a "oops -so sorry!"
Iove these "slightly" over-the-top comics. Kudos on the way -just for good measure :-)
