About this image

Hi everyone,

I've recently gotten back into making some armor meshes and ran into some issues where the human 'skeleton.nif' had out of alignment arms. I spent days trying to find a solution to this, and then realised that I recently began using the GOG version of Fallout 3 instead of Steam. Realising this I re-downloaded Fallout 3 through Steam, and extracted the human skeleton from there, and would you believe everything lined up when I imported it.

So just a heads up for anyone else using the GOG version, the human skeleton has misaligned arms for some reason, so be sure to the use the Steam file instead.

I don't know what assets or version of the GoG release you have, but I've already binary compared all the assets and they are identical.

Doesn't really make sense for them to be any different anyway does it? All GOG did was remove the DRM and patch the game to run in 64-bit.

That's hilarious !! I'm wondering if that's why the FNV, T6M Bouncy body outfits are all messed up with the arm meshes for it's outfits. Any outfit in that mod with sleeves is unusable. Unless you want to look at serious air gaps between arm and body. The author never addressed the issues either. At least, last I checked. Curious.

    Thanks for the info.
