About this mod
No longer looks like it's held together with wire and chewing gum but keeps the worn look, with a darker texture. Also adds a small brass pre-war American flag badge to the side. Now RH_IronSights compatible!

The hunting rifle is one of my favourite Fallout weapons but I always disliked how they were all so damaged and identically repaired.
What this mod does.
This mod replaces hunting rifles in the game with the adjusted model. I've taken off all the wire and stickytape and straightened the barrel.
I'm not great at making new textures so I've just edited the texture of the old model, mostly just recolouring the metal and wood and covering up the splitting on the stock.
The mod doesn't replace "Ol Painless", I thought it made sense to have that as a trusty rifle that's been through a lot and kept its owner alive so I've kept it as the only unique hunting rifle.
The badge
I had an idea that to raise extra money to pay for more apocalyptic bombs and what not the government sold special edition rifles when you buy a certain amount of war bonds. This would let people show they were patriotic citizens helping the war effort and give them peace of mind that if those commies do land on US soil, Uncle Sam can give them a bloody nose.

Install
Stick the files in your Fallout directory, activate the esp. You'll need to install Rogue Hallow's brilliant mod RH_IronSights if you want to use the IronSights version.
Uninstall
Deactivate the esp. delete the files.
Update
I've updated the model with better rear sights and repositioned it slightly for RH_Ironsights users. You need to download both for it to work though, I done goofed there.
