The original mod was made by Toxa and came from a small pack of snipers. All of them had problems but I was able to get one functioning properly, the L96A1. This rifle is something I've wanted in Fallout 3 for years and I was determined to get it working. So I completely re-made ALL of the meshes and textures to not only be more flattering, but also more true to life.

- The body texture was initially dark gray but I changed it to the classic drab green. I've included the original body textures as an optional download in case anyone wants it.

- The scope lens textures were completely re-done as the original didn't make any sense to me.

- I altered the body mesh to fit in your hands and so the pullback wasn't too out of place. I tried my best to make the barrel long without having the stock clipping through your arm/shoulder. The scope mesh was also tweaked to look way better.

- All the stats have been modified to be more befitting of a sniper but not too OP. The real life L96A1 can hold up to 10 bullets in its magazine, believe it or not.

- I've included a replacer version in the main files that swaps it out for the "Victory Rifle". I debated making it replace the standard sniper rifle but I wanted to keep it unique.

- If you're NOT using the replacer version you can purchase the L96A1 from Chief Gustavo in Tenpenny Tower.

- I left 5 different scope models in the "sniper pack" mesh file so you can easily switch it out and try something else. You can go into Fo3 Edit and change the scope model, "Sniperpack\scopes\scope2.nif". All you have to do is change the numerical from 1-5 in the scope#.nif (preset to scope2.nif).

- No I cannot make an iron sights version of this weapon, it's freaking impossible.

Updates:

v1.1 - For some reason the 'projectile' in the Non-replacer version was set to 32 rounds. I fixed the esp to use the correct sniper bullets, sorry about that. If you use Fo3 Edit/GECK you can edit it yourself pretty easy. The replacer version is fine and uses the correct bullet projectile.
