About this mod
The original and best custom fallout.ini and falloutperfs.ini for better than Very High graphics. This is the config many other ini\'s on nexus are based off of. Great in conjunction with other better visual mods; This is for those aiming for the highest graphical quality possible.

- tweaked level of detail for land to smooth ground drawing to match building and tree draw better.

- Changed Field of View when using the pipboy 3000 from 47 to 55 to match player field of view; It no longer 'zooms' when bringing your arm up or putting your arm down.
Changed the specular and shadow level of detail fade distances to correspond with light fading (raising their values to 3500):

Tweaked these values to improve performance while still maintaining maximum quality [reverting back to my original pre-release settings].

- Changed multithreaded tags from 0 to 1 for most threaded options. Those with multi-core systems may see a slight improvement in performance.
** Threaded option under the Audio section not recommended, can lead to crackling audio on some systems. **

This is my own custom fallout.ini and falloutperfs.ini for increased visuals past ultra high while maintaining the same level of performance or better.
- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
4+ GIGS RAM, pc6400+
Geforce 8800 GT/Radeon 3850 or better
dual-core/quad-core 2.4ghz or better
** REMEMBER ** This config is tweaked directly from the Ultra High setting so any controls/sounds will be all default. These files are for reference and may not be directly compatible with your machine, use at your own risk. Should you have a problem, simply remove these files and the game will automatically default back to it's original settings.

bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 has been changed to bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 to allow mods such as higher resolution weapons/blood.

There are other tweaks included in the files if you wish to dig through them. Some of the shadow related features are enabled but do not work, i'm not sure if this is a limitation with the game engine or a bug.
