GAME CHANGES This mod adds the .44 Magnum (without scope) to the game. Previously, only the Mysterious Stranger had one, and Paulson a modified one in Mothership Zeta.
A .44 Magnum also appears in one of the G.O.A.T questions, and its associated loading screen.
Containers that spawn with a random Scoped .44 Magnum have an equal chance of having a regular .44 Magnum instead.
The .44 Magnum doesn't appear anywhere in the world; it will only appear as a random item.
You can give one to Daniel Agincourt when he requests a pistol in the Taft Tunnel.
It can be be used to repair, and be repaired with, Scoped .44 Magnums, and used to repair Blackhawk.
With the Mothership Zeta compatibility Patch (“JXP44MagnumZetaCP.esp”), it can also be used to repair Paulson's Revolver.
NOTE: If you upgrade from any previous version prior to 0.2.0, any .44 Magnums (without scope) you have in your inventories will disapear. You can add replacements to your inventory using the console:

RATIONALE The regular .44 Magnum appears in Fallout 2 (as the .44 Magnum revolver), Fallout Tactics (as the 44 M29 revolver), Fallout New Vegas (as the .44 Magnum revolver), and Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 (as the .44 pistol) as an ordinary, obtainable weapon, but only appears in Fallout 3 in the hands of the Mysterious Stranger, Paulson in Mothership Zeta, and in one of the G.O.A.T questions (and associated load screen).
Since it's perfectly lore-friendly it seems a suitable addition to the base game.
