About this mod
This mod adds a new shop to the Tennpenny Tower Lobby run by
Butcher Pete. When you talk to butcher Pete he offers you a
job to collect human meat for him. If you accept he hands you
a knife and sends you on your way.
- Permissions and credits
While creating v1.4 i've encountered several annoying bugs that i've been unable to fix because they should not be happening. Until i fix them which seems unlikely as it stands i'll be unable to release the new update. So until that time this mod is discontinued, sorry.

1. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN

1. Extract to Fallout 3\Data and enable Butcher Petes Meat in
the Fallout 3 Launcher.
2. (Optional) Download and extract the audio addon to
Fallout 3\Data
DO NOT rename the esp file if you use the audio addon. It
points to a audio directory of its own name so will break the
mod.

offers quests for extremely evil characters

- Knife to harvest human and animal meat
- Repeatable Meat turn ins that give rewards and unlock new
quests
- Main quest for level 20 characters with a new vault area
to explore with special rewards
- 1 Side quest for level 20 characters
- 1 Side quest which uses Evergreen Mills (Only quest objectives
were added)
Overview
*********
This mod adds a new shop to the Tenpenny Tower Lobby run by
Butcher Pete. The shop is located between Cafe Bean Monde and
Botique Li Chic. I removed the chair and plants along the
wall and placed a door in its place which leads to the shop
which is placed between the original two shops using the left
over space.
When you talk to butcher Pete he offers you a job to collect
human meat for him. If you accept he hands you a boning
knife and sends you on your way.
If your the nice type you can kill Pete for 250 karma and
Pete's Butcher Knife. Pete's Butcher Knife has extremely high
damage and cripples limbs very fast. It also works as a
boning knife.
Audio Addon
************
Butcher Pete has full voice overs for up to v1.2 my compliments
to Tyana Rie for his wonderful work on it.
Kalista and Vault 99 Security Guard (Nina) has full voice overs
compliments to greenwarden for her wonderful work.
Lip Syncing has been added thanks to Crow Bennett's great
tutorial. However the lip sync generator seems quite awful so
alot of lines don't sync up properly with the audio.
Harvesting Meat for Pete
************************
With the knife in your inventory you gain a new perk allowing
you to harvest meat from a dead NPC while in sneak mode. You
can also hit a dead NPC with the knife to harvest meat.
The NPC in question must not be ghoul and must not be part of
the Tenpenny Tower Factions.
Harvesting a body will turn it into a bloody mess of body
parts. Each harvest will net you -10 karma and between
16 to 25 pieces of meat. Turning in meat to Pete will give
you -1 karma per meat, 5 caps per meat, 10xp per 20 meat
(0.5xp for single).
After turning in 500 meat Pete will hand you a Stun Gun and a
Slave Collar giving you the option to bring him live people to
be turned into meat. The NPC must not be Essential, a ghoul
or in the Tenpenny Tower Factions. Enslaving a person will
net you -100 karma, 500 caps, 46 to 55 meat to your meat count
and 20xp.
Main Quest (Butcher Pete's Meat)
********************************
The dead woman in Pete's backroom can be examined to start
a quest. Pete will ask the player to examine her for him
to find out where she's from. Examining the woman will
display a message based on the players medicine skill.
However to attain the information needed to continue the
quest the player needs a medicine skill of 76 or higher.
This quest is designed for level 20 players. Trying to
complete it any earlier will be quite difficult. See
Quest Rewards section for completion rewards.
Tips:
Room lights in the living quarters automatically turn off
at 8pm. Several vault dwellers also lay down to go to sleep.
There's a security office to the right after entering the
Vault Atrium which is stocked with weaponry and armor.
Vault dwellers may try to arm themselves if fighting breaks
out.
Side Quest (The Butcher's Niece)

After turning in 1000 meat Pete will ask you to find his
niece who hasn't come back in a while. She was last seen
at Evergreen Mills.
Side Quest (The Dominant Supplier)
**********************************
After Turning in 2000 meat you'll be approached by Kalista
a seedy business woman. She'll offer to setup a trade
caravan to deliver Pete's meat to the various cities if
you sabotage the competition.
See Quest Rewards section for detailed information on how
the Trade Caravan works.
This quest is designed for level 20 players. Trying to
complete it any earlier will be quite difficult. See
Quest Rewards section for completion rewards.
Tips:
Completing the quest unique ways without killing gives
quest completion experience close to what killing everyone
in the camp would give.
All hunters except those patrolling outside will go to sleep at
night
Pete's Inventory
****************
Pete sells empty blood packs as well as a variety of Strange
Meat with stats on par with the Better Food Mod. Pete's meat
stock will vary each time he restocks. If you sell Pete meat
or bring him a slave he will get random amounts of new meat
added to his stock to sell until his inventory resets.
After you turn in 1000 Meat Pete will have an additional 250 Caps
After you turn in 2000 Meat Pete will have an additional 250 Caps
After you turn in 3000 Meat Pete will have an additional 250 Caps
With all three plus his normal amount he'll have 1000 caps
After completing the quest Butcher Pete's Meat Pete will stock
new high quality meats without rads.
Boning Knife
************
Pete sells boning knives in case you lose yours. The boning
knife allows you to harvest meat from humans and dead animals
while in sneak mode. You can also hit a dead NPC or animal
with the knife to harvest meat. It also allows you to collect
blood from dead humans and animals that bleed red blood.
When harvesting a body it will turn into a bloody mess of body
parts. Each harvest from humans will net you -10 karma and
between 16 to 25 pieces of meat. If you have empty blood packs
in your inventory you'll be able to collect 4 to 8 blood packs
worth.
Each harvest from animals is dependant on its size. For
instance a Brahmin will net between 16 to 25 Brahmin Steaks
while a Radroach will net between 3 to 5 Radroach Meat. If
you have empty blood packs in your inventory you'll be able
to collect blood packs dependant on the size of the creature.
For instance a brahmin will give 4 to 8 blood packs while
a dog will give 3 to 4.
This knife's functions is compatible with any new versions
of the below animals providing they are in the appropriate
faction. This includes MMM.

The amount of meat turned in can be viewed by activating a
Curious Looking Strange Steak next to the radio in Pete's room.
Please allow several moments before activating it for the counter
to update to the new value.
500 Meat - Pete will hand you a Stun Gun and a Slave Collar
giving you the option to bring him live people to
be turned into meat. Max of 1 Slave at a time.
1000 Meat - Pete will have 250 extra Caps, The Butcher's Niece
Quest becomes available
2000 Meat - Pete will have 250 extra Caps, The Dominant Supplier

Quest Rewards

This is a list of the rewards obtained while completing
quests.
Main Quest (Butcher Pete's Meat)
- Energy SMG
- Pip-Boy Stealth Boy Addon (Stealth field that can be
toggled on and off at will)
- Stealth Suit
- Pete will stock new high quality meats without rads
- Trade Cavan will stock new high quality meats without rads
Side Quest (The Butcher's Niece)
- None, but Will unlock a future quest.
Side Quest (The Dominant Supplier)
- Trade Caravan that visits Andale, Megaton, Rivet City,
Canterbury Commons, Paradise Falls, Arefu, Evergreen Mills
and Tenpenny Tower. In that order. It will remain at the
town for 3 hours.
The trade caravan will start with a moderate amount of caps
and a large supply of meat. At each town the caravan will
unload food to the food vendor which in turn gives the
caravan money and reduces its stock.
At the end of the trade route the caravan will arrive back
at Tenpenny Tower to restock. More meat will be added and
a large amount of caps will be deducted from the caravan to
pay for it. This money will be added to Pete until his
vendor chest respawns.
The caravan will continue on generating an income to a maximum
of 2500 caps. The caravan's money will not respawn it will
only be refreshed by doing the caravan route. Completing the
Butcher Pete's Meat quest will allow the trade caravan to stock
high quality meat and generate about twice as much money in the
same time frame.
Customizing Mod Options

By activating the Curious Looking Strange Steak next to the
radio in Pete's room you'll be able to access an options
menu. Below is a list of the options available and what
they do.
Predator Skull Harvesting - Off by Default. Adds a
mutilated skull to your inventory when you harvest meat
from a dead NPC.
Stealth Suit Auto Stealth on Sneak - On by Default.
Changes if the stealth suit automatically stealths you
when you enter sneak mode.
Body Exploding with Menu Harvesting - On by Default.
Changes if a body explodes or not when harvested.
Body Exploding with On Hit Harvesting - On by Default.
Changes if a body explodes or not when harvested.
Customizing the Turn In Rewards with the GECK

The reward values can be changed very easily. A script
in the quest LFoxButcherPeteQuest is attached to a dialog
option LFoxButcherPeteMeatMain which sets the values for all
meat turn ins. Simply changing the values there will change
the rewards for turning in meat.
Under the dialog option GREETING 4th option is the values for
turning in human slaves. Simpy changing the values there
will change the rewards for turning in meat slaves.
IMPORTANT: If you want to uninstall this mod drop Pete's Butcher
Knife and the Boning Knife before doing so. It will make the
perk to harvest meat automatically remove itself. If you don't
do this your game will CTD on load.

- Modified the turn in all meat option to also turn in all Vault
Quality Human Flesh
- Changed the dead woman's hair color and style to fit better
with the new questline
- Changed the examine messages for the dead woman to fit with
the new questline
- Remodeled Pete's shop area to look a bit more natural using
some nice screenshots from Triumph675
- Made Pete's backroom much more bloody and added some blood
